I used to meet here on a Saturdsy night some 50 years ago. 8pm sharp. The front exterior and interior have hardly changed. Wonderful. A good real ale selection. Oddly I had a Three Acre Sussex Brewery, Spring Golden. Had my first ever pint 2 weeks ago .. in Halifax! Great pub cat. Food menu, rear dining area and small beer garden.
Always such a wonderful time when you can tell the food has been cooked with love. The staff were excellent and attentive to our every need. Great veggie options too… although sausage roll is a MUST!
What a very relaxing place, wooden floors throughout with great tables and chairs. Cosy little place. Nicely decorated and the staff were friendly and polite. Tried a beer I had never had before which was nice. Restaurant area and garden at the rear of the premises. Really enjoyed my visit.
Nice local pub. Came for a quick drink. Nice real fire. Good choice of drinks at reasonable prices. Service was good. Busy place.
Amazing vegan menu! So different from the usual, limited menu offered in so many other places where I end up having 2 starters if I’m lucky - and having to ask the kitchen to hold the cheese or cream. Beautiful presentation! Chef Dan is amazing!!
