A small bistro type coffee shop come cafe is located off the busy grove road in Eastbourne. Parking is limited so be prepared to have to part at the end of the road and walk down. A friendly welcome was given and a choice of both breakfast and lunch menus provided. I opted for scrabbled egg on toast with pancetta. Food arrived quickly and freshly cooked. Prices were average and a good sized tea pot was provided for my hot drink of choice. The business was busy and the tables are limited so i suspect gets filled up quickly. Staff were very chatty and friendly and I can’t fault anything. A nice place to stop for a cuppa and light bites. A well deserved 5 stars
For my wifes birthday we chose Olive Tree, so glad we did, everything about this place is worthy of 5 stars, staff were welcoming and friendly, obviously passionate about their business, the food was beautiful, they use quality ingredients and most of all, the coffee and cake are amazing! Highly recommend, best coffee shop in Eastbourne! Will drop in again soon. Thanks for an enjoyable visit.
As soon as we got into the cafe, the owner greeted us with a bright smile. Also, both our food and the atmosphere of the cafe were perfect. I want to visit again next time:D
Coffee and food were both excellent. Something a little different to your usual cafe. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality ingredients. Both the owners were very welcoming and provided good service. Dog friendly in the front part of the restaurant. Well worth a stop.
What a superb experience this was for breakfast (for mum) coffee and cake (for me and dad). So friendly and super helpful with mum in her power chair! We’ll be back for sure!
As I am new to the area I was in search of a good breakfast/brunch cafe coffee shop and I definitely found my new favourite, a nice friendly greeting as you walk in, interesting varied menu, I had poached eggs on smashed avocado with pancetta, cherry tomatoes that were like little flavour bombs with an addition of roasted peppers, with a beautiful pot of Earl grey to sip and enjoy the decor, the owner brought my order over the food looked amazing and very well presented, we had a friendly chat me saying it’s nice to be cooked for, for a change being a chef, cleaned my plate it was so good and very rarely do I do that, everyone in Eastbourne should frequent this fine establishment for a simple coffee or lovely brunch you will not be disappointed
P.S the lemon drizzle cake is second to none bought a slice on my way out, full of citrus scents and delicious lemony flavour
Attractive and pleasant cafe serving freshly cooked and very tasty food. Owners are very welcoming and friendly, they obviously enjoy the hospitality business. Will definitely visit again.
Great place to have a beautiful lunch or just a nice cake and coffee.
Had a lovely lunch there today. So glad they made it through Covid lockdowns as we missed our regular visits. The food and cakes are freshly home made and delicious. Highly recommend this little gem of a café.

A great place to spend an hour or two. The decor and atmosphere is relaxing, the food is delicious and the owners made us super relaxed. A hidden gem in the town.
