A small bistro type coffee shop come cafe is located off the busy grove road in Eastbourne. Parking is limited so be prepared to have to part at the end of the road and walk down. A friendly welcome was given and a choice of both breakfast and lunch menus provided. I opted for scrabbled egg on toast
For my wifes birthday we chose Olive Tree, so glad we did, everything about this place is worthy of 5 stars, staff were welcoming and friendly, obviously passionate about their business, the food was beautiful, they use quality ingredients and most of all, the coffee and cake are amazing! As soon as we got into the cafe, the owner greeted us with a bright smile. Also, both our food and the atmosphere of the cafe were perfect. I want to visit again next time:D
Coffee and food were both excellent. Something a little different to your usual cafe. Prices are reasonable considering the high quality ingredients. Both the owners were very welcoming and provided good service. Dog friendly in the front part of the restaurant. Well worth a stop.
What a superb experience this was for breakfast (for mum) coffee and cake (for me and dad). So friendly and super helpful with mum in her power chair! We’ll be back for sure!

Attractive and pleasant cafe serving freshly cooked and very tasty food. Owners are very welcoming and friendly, they obviously enjoy the hospitality business. Will definitely visit again.

Had a lovely lunch there today. So glad they made it through Covid lockdowns as we missed our regular visits. The food and cakes are freshly home made and delicious. Highly recommend this little gem of a café.

Friendly, relaxing and family run local business, which are all positives! Had the Brie, Cranberry & Pancetta Ciabatta and it was absolutely delicious. Followed up by a slice of freshly made Coffee Cake, which was also fantastic. Thoroughly recommended 👍
The best Oat Milk latte is served at The Olive Tree! Charming owners who have the gift of making every customer feel welcome and special. Refreshing not to have WiFi. I could sit and read my book here all day; and drink coffee!
Lovely couple and beautiful coffee shop. The food is amazing and made with love. She finds out what you can or can not have a cooks food to suit you. Don't know another place who do that. Must go check this place out xx
A great place to eat, very comfortable and relaxing and a delicious lunch. They also do my favourite tea, rooibos, so will definitely be back.
