We liked this place and had our brunch here with friends. Menu has has lots of options in tea, and snacks, liked the Cream tea. Highly recommended for afternoon tea and breakfast at the Pier.
Staff is super amazing, we forgot our wallet here with full of cash and credit card and when we returned they calmly returned it in no time. That waitress saved our entire trip as it was our second day of the trip to UK. I'm going to remember this place forever.
Thanks Victorian tea rooms. Will visit again
Wow what a lovely place it is beautiful inside the chandlers are lovely and the food was bought quickly and was tasty.
They have a large selection on the menu good value for money
It's on the peir it's just been done up and looks lovely
It seems very popular here and was quite busy when we went in for a sandwich and cake. The food was beautifully presented and the sandwiches were very fresh and tasty. The lemon and Elderflower cake was really good. The waitresses were really friendly and efficient so that added to the very positive experience we had here.
Loved this. Proper old-fashioned service for a wonderful tea. We tried to get the waiter to make up stories about the chandeliers and decided that the most believable lie was that they were from the Titanic, rescued as the ship sank. Go there and enjoy yourself - the cakes are so sweet.
A very nice tea room on the pier. Tea and scones with cream and jam were very nice.
Had a lovely lunch and tea on the pier on a rainy February afternoon. The staff were very friendly, service was good, efficient and quick.
There are a variety of sandwiches, cakes and the tea was hot!
It is a large restaurant, and I'm sure in the summer, the views will be spectacular.
Enjoy!
This is a cold and windy day, especially when you are at the seaside. So when I see this tea room, I went inside without any hesitation.
Price is much lower than I think. A slice of cake is just £3.5 and they don’t have minimum charge.
I sat by the window, enjoying the warm sunshine as well as my chocolate and toffee cheese cake. What a lovely afternoon!
Surely will come back again, with my book!
Very busy as on the pier and a sunny day. Had to wait to be seated but only short-time and we were kept informed. Service was polite and friendly. The cream tea was excellent and we enjoyed enough to return the following day for a sandwich at lunchtime which again was as good an experience. Would recommend.
Delicious food in beautiful surroundings. You are half way along the Eastbourne pier in a lovely room with chandeliers. Waitress service and a great selection of sandwiches and cakes. Prices are good as well.
Neat decor and my scone with jam and clotted cream was fresh and tasty as was my Mum's teacake. We enjoyed the views from our table near the windows.
Our Waitress was friendly and helpful; holding the door and moving chairs so I could manoeuvre Mum's wheelchair easier. Prices were good and we would definitely go back there.
