Fantastic stay! Parked out front, nice room, very comfy bed, no noise after pub hours, staff friendly as you could ever want! Had a great sleep and woke up to a fantastic full English included. Great gas/boiler shower in a separate bathroom a few feet away, and even gowns provided. Food was great, a
Only had breakfast, hence no room rating. Breakfast was spot on. Initially, it looks a bit pricey, but for what you get, it's good value, in my opinion. Staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I would happily recommend this place to anyone.

We had a lovely family lunch here today, after a morning at Richborough fort. Lovely atmosphere for a midweek lunchtime and great friendly service. The kids menu was good value and the (adult!) desserts were particularly delicious!

Very pleasant weekend stay at "olde" village centre pub. Staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and attentive; room was nice, very good breakfast. The restaurant serves simple, homely but nicely prepared fare. One small grumble - there was a modern bandit machine flashing away in the restaurant roo

The service needs more stars. The 5 limit doesn't do the people here any justice. They're absolutely delightful and very thoughtful. I'd definitely come back, just for this alone.
Lovely cosy traditional pub, with an excellent menu, friendly staff and good value for money.

Food amazing. Service brilliant. Mary is wonderful. Have stayed here for my partners birthday in the double room. Would highly recommend the 5 bells either just for a drink or a meal or family gathering.
