Went to this tea room yesterday, and what a lovely lady and tea room it was,my mum is celiac so she had a gluten free afternoon tea which was beautiful and my mum loved it ,she's very hard to please when it comes to cake and bread but Julie went above and beyond to make us happy, would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back

Lovely little place and so welcoming . Hot chocolate was scrummy and the lemon & lime cheesecake too ! The butterscotch tart was the highlight of my week and the best I’ve had since my school days ! A little bit of paradise and well worth a visit .

We're not local so unlikely to be back soon, but thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and a big pot of tea. Very friendly service with tables at the front and rear of the property. Mostly local patrons enjoying Julie's food and personality.

Just had luxury cream tea for 2. Absolutely first class and excellent !!! We had half savoury and half sweet, so much we didn't know where to start first. Even then couldn't finish it all, so Julie did us a doggie bag. Cracking place!! Julie is a lovely lady. It was our anniversary and visiting Julie's made it even more special. Thank you. Will recommend.

Lovely afternoon tea served on a pretty tea-set and cakestands. Friendly staff and delicious food around the corner from DH Lawrence's birthplace. Great value for money and good choice of options on the menu; the gluten-free and dairy-free food was excellent. Very enjoyable and cosy afternoon had by all.
