The Ambala

Like Caeser, The Curry Club from work came, but it was the Ambala that conquered... again. Very good food, very friendly and helpful and very clean. A few places around us, but this is the favourite. The pricing is, to my mind, surprising competitive and very good value for money. Go on, give them a try, you know you want to!

The staff are lovely, extremely friendly and welcoming. And the food in the restaurant we enjoyed very much. (We opted for the buffet and were very happy with it.) Sure, the place seems tired and in need of a little TLC, some of which is really minor but would make a big difference. And perhaps a little more attention to detail with regards to the rooms wouldn't go amiss. But having accepted this, one can say it all adds to the overall charm. Wonderful place.

Just rung around 4 other hotels and all were fully booked, rung the Ambala and spoke to a lovely gentleman called Ali hopefully that's his name as it was a bad line due to my bad reception lol, They also were fully booked but he rung around and found another hotel for me and my mum to stay in!! I'm traveling to Wales over the bank holiday from london to take my mum back to ebbw vale where she was born, she hasn't visited in over twenty years, No where in London would go out of there way like this!! So greatful ☺ thank you so much!! I will definitely be reccommending this hotel to all my family and friends xx
