Had a brilliant night here for surf and turf night. Every course was nice and looked nice too with plentiful sizes. Finished off with a hot chocolate made with real chocolate. Bought 2 pies to take home too. Very good. Will be back and definitely recommend.

What a wonderful experience we had doing the chocolate course here for Easter Monday. David is such a patient guy who really seems to enjoy his role of sharing his talents. We had so much fun and believe this course is great value for money. Whilst there we were also able to enjoy some home made pies which were lovely!! Such a little gem this place, if you’re nearby definitely pay a visit!

First time in with family. Great customer friendly service. I had homemade beef and Stilton pie and it was amazing (with mash, gravy and peas. Hot drinks and other meals also spot on. Could do with background music but I'm being a bit picky 😁. Definitely going back.

Great local cafe with homemade food.
He makes his own pies and curry's etc I have had a couple of the pies as take out and also 1 as an eat in meal, I am however still chasing the elusive Chicken Vindaloo Pie he does as they sell out rather fast.
My Grand Daughter had a bacon barm and it was better quality bacon than I usually see at a cafe or take away.
Good friendly service and great food.

I have seen this establishment several times since it opened and am ashamed to say I had never been. Remedied that today!! It's been my loss, it has a great atmosphere, superb food and cracking staff! Cannot praise it enough. We both had pie, mash, peas and cappuccino. Amazing! Thanks to Dave and Demi.
I'll be back without a doubt.

What a gem this place! I got the warmest, friendliest of welcomes and spent a lovely hour with a great coffee while my car was at Kwik Fit.
Highly recommend, beautiful home made chocolate also available!

Very polite staff, always chatty and helpful, and has a lovely atmosphere with good community relations.
The Pie's from here are brilliant, I would absolutely recommend, However the breakfast sandwiches are poor value for money in terms of quality of produce, and quantity of contents. To put it into a little context, £5 for a Sausage and Bacon barm is much higher than local competitors. (2x catering sausages and 2 slices of Bacon, both of which are pre cooked and stored in a metal container and then re-heated).
I will return for the Pie's and the home baked good's and the batch made dish's of the day which are always bang on.
I have edited this reveiw from 3 stars to 4 starts upon reflection, as it seems fairer the mark as 1 less than perfect trip should not completely cancel out the other times I have been and I suggest that i was probably being a little harsh

Brilliant food and great customer service. The guy that owns and runs this place is really friendly and welcoming. Came with my partner a few weeks ago and we had the ham, cheese and onion toastie which was very delish. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning when next in the area 😀

Very lovely staff and service, always felt very welcome. Exquisite hot chocolate and sweets! Plenty of choice for lunch and snacks, homemade goods in all departments and always tidy and clean. Love the location too, and love the events that they host, only been to a couple so far and looking forward to attending more in the future. Overall superb and welcoming :)

Working locally, needed some lunch.
I've never noticed this hidden gem 💎.
Went for the pie,mash,mushy peas and gravy and I'm full,warm and happy 😁.
Definitely will be returning for a sit in meal.
Chef was polite, helpful and ensured we had cutlery prior to leaving as it was a takeout on this occasion due to working.
