Very pleasant location, a lot of mature deciduous trees making for a superb backdrop to the lakes, whilst not interfering with casting too much.
I only caught the one fish, but it was a hard fighting, decent sized rainbow that definitely did not want to come to the net.

Stayed at the CAMC Cl site. Well thought out and spacious pitches. Great onsite cafe and very accomodating hosts. Only downside is no dedicated easy access drain for motorhome grey waste, but that is being picky. Decent walks from.sote once you've got away from the initial main road
Very pretty setting. We did have to wait a little while for our meal as everything is cooked fresh to order, but the staff are friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

Nice location. Light snacks and a few mains. Nice cakes. About ten tables including some in the conservatory . And out side seating. Conservatory overlooking fishing pool. Great farm shop next door
We has a great all day breakfast. The ladies there were brilliant with my two rescue puppies. Love this place because we are welcome with our puppies.

Always a great place to meet and eat. The staff are excellent and the menu is very varied and good value for money. Licensed recently which is another plus. Lovely surroundings highly recommended

Stayed three nights with two full day’s fishing. Absolutely fantastic experience and will definitely revisit. Very friendly fishery manager (Pete) and a wonderful cafe - Wood burning stove, great staff and an absolute stunner of a breakfast. Lovely views over the lakes too. For the price, it doesn’t
We went to spend a quiet weekend in our motorhome. Successfully! Had Sunday breakfast in the café which was freshly cooked, so hot and delicious. Such lovely views.
