Great food and people. Was looking for dinner but didn't want a fancy restaurant experience but something above pub food. Made a booking online really easily and the food was excellent.

Very good experience in this Mash Bar! I got the lamb shank with smoked beans mash and it was perfect! Very good portion of food, perfectly cooked! Prices are affordable and the service is fast. Will recommend to any tourist who want to taste good cuisine from Scotland at a good price.

This was the best food I have ever eaten! Definitely recommend and so gutted that this place is only in Edinburgh! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere with music. Food was served quickly and was delicious!

Yum. Sausages. Potatoes. What's not to like?! Staff were brilliant and helpful with suggestions (thank goodness they suggested we share some loaded skins as they are hefty portions!). All the food was high quality. I had the beef and black pudding sausages with black pudding mash. Delightful. Got to try some of the wild boar sausages too which were great! And sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Sticky. Sweet. Spongey. Again - yum

Cozy restaurant with very friendly staffs. With a reservation, everything is smooth. We ordered lamb and scottish beef sausage and a pudding desert. Pudding is fantastic while the beef is a little salty in its core. Will comeback next time.
