Piccolino - Edinburgh - Photo album

Absolutely a great meal and atmosphere. With the festivals going on it was nothing less than busy. The customer service and food was nothing less than great. I wasn’t able to eat a bit of the starter as I forgot to take a pic. However wonderful food carbonara is creamy and tasteful. Everything was
Came here for dinner on a Thursday evening - it was slightly busy with some tables available for walk-in. The service is excellent and the staff made us feel welcome, checking on us throughout. There was a wide selection available on the menu, with the dishes tasting great however on the slightly e
Excellent food and service. We visited on a Thursday for a family lunch. It's 20% off Mon-Thu. We ordered linguine pistachio e gamberi, linguine al profumo di mare and carbonara. The seafood was fresh, and the sauce was very tasty. The carbonara is authentic and delicious. For dessert we had tirumis
Really enjoyed this restaurant. Basic menu, not too much to confuse you in choice. Fabulous pasta dishes, I opted for the prawns with cherry tomato and pistachio. Delicious! Service was really good... We were the only table outside, but the waitress was ever so genial and attentive, even though she
We ordered mini parmigiana, linguine al Profumo do mare and lasagna. The restaurant is lovely and all dishes are delicious.
We ate here twice during our stay in Edinburgh. Tasty italian food and very nice and friendly staff. Thay also have highchairs and children’s menu.
Very friendly service. Prices OK. Food good. Music was more foreground than background for my taste but I am sure this would be perfect for many. Toilet facilities very limited. On balance, though, I would eat there again and recommend it to others.
I have dined at Piccolino together with a sizeable group. We all ordered differently, and we all fell in love with our food! Seems like you can't get it wrong here - high quality specialties and authentic Italian flavours. I had the paccheri "with a twist": salmon and prawns instead of the usual ven
Very friendly staff! We came without a reservation and luckily they cleaned up a table within a few minutes. We didn‘t wait long for the food and everything tasted well and was fair priced. I can only recommend Piccolino!🇮🇹
Had a lovely dinner there with friends,. We just walked in off the street and fortunately they could take us. It was their last table. We were treated very well and the food was excellent.
I went there for a small brunch and really was impressed. My friend had bruchetta which was sizeable for the price (£5) and she said it was really fresh. My meal was prawns in tomato and wine sauce, a starter at £8. It was delicious, full of flavour and a chilli kick. I don't know how it wasn't bu
Tasty food and lovely staff:) The risotto was amazing! And everything with prawns are definitely worth trying they’re all good. Tiramisu a bit too sweet for me but that’s just personal:) it tastes just like those I had in Italy!
The atmosphere, food and staff were all excellent. Last night I joined a friend for her birthday meal at her favourite local Italian restaurant, Piccolino. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how delicious the seafood smelled and the stunning plate presentation on customers tables, I knew
My father and I had dinner in this gem at the rim of Old Town Edinburgh. The service was super friendly. The homemade food was super delicious. The ambience did the rest to amaze us. We both can recommend this restaurant.
The best meal I had while I was in Scotland.
What an amazing experience! The owner was absolutely awesome and the service was fantastic! Homemade burrata and penne Siciliano and a cappucino= epic delicious dinner. Would absolutely come back if I lived in Edinburgh!!
Had a fantastic meal in what is a lovely environment. Staff are attentive, although we are not convinced our waitress fully understood us, but all in all a great place to eat.
I am Italian, the food is delicious, real Italian and good quality. Very good wine. Prices are reasonable, honestly I expected it would be more expensive. Very good service as well, Gianvito is so nice and friendly. Would definitely come back!
I was very impressed with my delivered takeaway this evening. It arrived quickly, and everything was delicious. I wish they offered more for vegetarians, but what they did offer was excellent. I had the Caprese Salad, the beautifully smoky-tasting grilled Trio di Verdure, the spirited Penne Arrab
