Absolutely delicious food and great service. The food was fresh and very tasty and the staff were friendly and accommodating, we were in a bit of a hurry and they moved up our mains to help us out. The arancini balls were the best I've ever had and my pasta dish was excellent, although I'm not sure that venison was the best meat to go with the sauce being fairly gamey and strong tasted. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the sauce was superb, sweet with just a hint of acid. Really good. Although a little pricey for lunch the specials were top notch and the choice was almost overwhelming in variety. Absolutely deserving of five stars.

It is very rare to find such place in today's world. Perfect homely ambiance, lovely fresh food and home made taste. The staff is very polite and offered exceptional service. The menu was discussed in detail and options were given for tailor made alterations . I can't praise this place more. Perfect ambiance, excellent service, lovely home made fresh taste. It also offers good selection of wines with nice informative recommendations from staff. This is a must visit place. 👍

I took my Mum out for lunch on Sunday 28.09.19. We chose to visit Nonna’s Kitchen for the first time. I can honestly say that our meal was wonderful, all home cooked, generous portions, and totally unrushed . The staff checked continually to ensure that we were enjoying our meal and that they could not do anything more to improve it. The atmosphere in the restaurant was one of friendliness and relaxation, just what you want on a lazy Sunday afternoon. I can’t praise this restaurant enough. We are from a Italian family, who are very fussy when eating Italian food anywhere, but home, but this was a close second to my mother’s cooking, and I do not say this lightly. To finish our very pleasant experience in this restaurant, we were given a complimentary ‘Amaretto’ liquor to finish. We will certainly return to this restaurant soon.

Compact and busy. Well situated. Great menu. Authentic Italian. Simple sounding things taste fabulous. The house wine is terrific. Not a lot of elbow room but isnt that how Italians are supposed to be? In the mood for tasty Italian? I wouldn't walk past it. Seems they can reliably conjour up a table.

I absolutely love this place. The delicious food, the great service and the top-quality wine, make this one of the best restaurants in the Morningside/ Bruntsfield area. But it’s the wonderful atmosphere that makes this place so special. You get the sense of being part of the family. It’s become my go-to pre-cinema treat. Wonderful!!!

I can’t believe how beautiful was the atmosphere! How friendly were the staff! And how family oriented this place is!! I’m still amazed by their hospitality! And the food is on another level, absolutely delicious!!!!! Thank you Nonna’s kitchen team for the best service. We can’t wait to visit you back!
