Got a tip about this place from the hotel guy. Inexpensive filling breakfast. Pretty good selection for a small shop. Mostly take away. One 4 seat table. Breakfast deal with coffee for under £4. Great for the price! Long list of sandwiches if you're not looking for breakfast. Very casual.
Really lovely little sandwich shop. Great, friendly service and very fast service also. Coffee was great and the Sausage sandwich was delightful! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat and a coffee.
Get the breakfast roll!

Many people dislike thistle sandwiches, citing them as "too expensive for what they are" and "bristly, left my mouth bleeding", but as a Scotsman I recommend that you try this delicacy with an open mind and something to soothe the jaggy aftertaste of fresh thistle.
To those who complain about the price I would warn against try to pick and prepare your own thistles unless you have someone with you who knows what they're looking for. An unripe thistle may be only slightly unpalatable going down, but your stomach will struggle to dissolve the plant fibre sufficiently before it starts coming out the other end. Trust me, that's not what you want.
So, all in all these folk do a very reasonable price for a jaggy weed in a bun. I think they does bacon rolls too.
