From the attentive staff to the masterpieces of pasta put together by the kitchen, there were no flaws in this dining experience. We stepped foot into the restaurant by chance and left wanting to return to try more of their menu!

Me and my boyfriend enjoyed our night so much! The food was so delicious and went perfectly with the wine recommended by Pietro. He was serving us and was so thoughtful, welcoming and friendly! All the staff were amazing. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they were kind to give him candles and congratulate him for his birthday. So lovely! We will definitely come back! Marina :)

Me and my friends had a lovely meal here celebrating my graduation! Everyone who served us was so friendly and welcoming. I love how they have good sharing options - instead of each getting an individual starter we got the focaccia which was the perfect amount to share between three of us. I had the carbonara as a main which was delicious! They also have a huge selection of wines and the wine tasting vending machine was a nice touch! There was a bit of a wait between courses but it was a busy Friday night so that’s understandable. Overall a really lovely evening in a beautiful atmosphere!

Great wine menu. We enjoyed our bottle of Barbera d'asti. Attentive staff and friendly service. Pastas were quite good. We tried the spaghetti carbonara and pappardelle. However the appetizers were disappointing. Salad was nothing more than a bowl of lettuce/rocket with nothing else on/in it. Breads were dry and bland. Try the Affogato for dessert.

Food on a par with the best in Italy, creative wine by the glass menu, perfect atmosphere and service. The icing on the cake was that our waiter took the time to chat in Italian

This is certainly a hidden gem!! While looking for some Italian food in Edinburgh away from the masses, we stumbled into this place. The wine selection is massive - for both bottles and individual glasses. I got the papardelle ragu and my husband got the linguini. Both were divine. The service was pretty good, but I think we were a little forgotten as we were sitting outside. The outside area is delightful and adorable. If you’re craving Italian and delicious wine, definitely stop in here!!

I entered the restaurant and was greeted with a pleasant smile and enquiry as to how I could be helped. My partner had arrived a few minutes before me and was sitting at the bar enjoying a glass of Prosecco. We were asked if we would like our jackets out into the cloakroom and accepted the offer. I chose a bottle wine from the list and ordered bruschetta followed by ravioli and tiramisu for dessert. We were well looked after throughout the evening by the very friendly staff. I finished my meal with a espresso and a classic negroni. The food was of a high standard although I have had a better tiramisu elsewhere. Well worth a visit for a special occasion.

I attended the sweet wines and dessert pairing in March. Brilliant! I normally don’t like desert wine, but the combination of the wines and the exceptionally prepared desserts were so memorable. Had dinner in the restaurant afterwards… Yes, I eat backwards. Lol and the sommelier recommended the most perfect one for my dinner. I came back home and thought that wine out. It was a Gavi di gavi… a wine I’ve never had, and I loved being introduced to something new. The dinner was prepared. Perfectly winds were well, balanced, and dessert was awesome. I cannot recommend this place enough. What a great find.

We discovered Divino Enoteca by chance on the Friday evening of a long weekend in Edinburgh. The attentiveness and friendliness of the staff was akin the The Savoy for example. The food and vino was exceptional; so much so that we booked again for the Sunday evening, not only for dinner but for a most enjoyable wine tasting event too. The atmosphere was great too. Would highly recommend.

Overall had a lovely experience. The waitress was wonderful and truly had the best wine recommendations to go with each dish. I do with the pasta dish would have had more flavor but still was a nice dish. The atmosphere was great as well. I would definitely go back.
