This is the best gelato I’ve ever tried. I tried three flavors: pistachio, cheesecake, and chocolate. Love them all. It was my first time here and definitely not the last.

Authentic family-run Italian restaurant with a rustic ambience in the heart of Edinburgh. Staff are very friendly, although knowing some basic Italian definitely helps. Highly recommended trying the Pizza Calabrese, although their pastas and risottos were also very good. Can get very busy over the weekend for dinner, so I'd recommend booking for a visit at those times. All in all a great place for a true Italian dinner in a laid back atmosphere, and would highly recommend a visit

Authentically Italian! Excellent ambience and service was top notch. Have to book as it’s heaving in here. We had to wait a little while for our table to be ready but was worth it. The seafood pasta could have had a little more seafood. The squid ink pasta was on the drier side but the sauce was delicious and had a good depth. Mussels were plump and stewed in a tangy white wine sauce. Calzone was deep filled and had a crispy crust.
