I sought out this restaurant on internet before arriving in Edinburgh because of its amazing charm. After visiting the restaurant, we were delighted with its interior, helpful service and tasty food. When we visiting Edinburgh in the future again, we will certainly stop again.

While travelling from Australia we dropped in for a quick lunch.
Had the Sunday Roast, I have to say up there with the best ever!

Drove a 90-mile round trip, and it was more than worth it. Had fish and chips, which were excellent. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We will be back again soon. I would highly recommend the Starbank to all.

Lovely location overlooking the waterfront, extremely tasty food and friendly staff. Definitely coming back!

Although the bar area felt like a bit of a rowdy locals pub, the conservatory where we ate dinner was peaceful and bright. The food was great, pub classics with plenty of flavour. One of the staff members did keep smoking right outside the door meaning it blew in across us while we ate.

A great little spot on the edge of the seawall, the perfect warmth after a long day of walking in the Scottish rains. Plenty of lager, plenty of food, fair prices even in this economy. Service impeccable: cheeky, thoughtful and thorough. Dunno if I'll come back to Scotland soon, but I'll check in here if I do.

Return visit here on our way to our hotel, always receive a warm welcome from staff. Ordered a beer and some food, a starter to share, it was our teams favourite platter. Beef burger sliders, chicken wings, beer-battered cod goujons, rosemary-salted fries, East Coast IPA BBQ sauce and tartare sauce food was very tasty and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, see you next time :) :)
