It was a Christmas day and most of the restaurants were closed that’s when we found this hidden gem . We had Tom yum soup , stir fried seafood noodles, Thai green curry chicken and jasmine rice . We were served some complimentary prawn crackers .We had couple of beers too. Tom yum soup was delicious loaded with veggies . Stir Fred noodles was average. Thai green curry was delicious , but not that spicy . Great service , delicious and quality food .
Very pleasant and reasonable price
Met a friend a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant was very quiet (lunchtime on a Friday!). The set menu was varied and very reasonable. Unfortunately the waiter got my friend the wrong starter. So mine was cold by the time she got hers. However rest of the meal was good. I had peppered squid, we both had the green curry (though it was very spicy). Good ladies room
4 of us ate here during the Fringe and it was great. Service cheerful and quick, and all aspects of the meal were really good, with all the best elements of Thai cuisine showing through. Excellent!
Not booking a Saturday night meal during the festival season isn't a great idea, if you are planning to eat out that is. One of friends really wanted some Thai and our favourite Dusit was completely booked. We found Time 4 Thai on Zomato and thought it was worth a shot. We were lucky enough to get a table despite the place being very busy. Our group chose various Thai curry options and a stir fry. My red curry was very spicy but my Indian tastebuds didn't struggle too much. The seafood in our curries was perfectly cooked and juicy. We shared a couple of desserts and I went for the adventurous option and chose the sticky rice in filo pastry with mangoes and coconut milk. It was different but very good! The service was good and the waiters really tried. The only drawback was that there were a few things lost in translation. However, it did not stop us from having a great meal. Good to have another local alternative to Dusit!
Very good meal service was excellent and the food was as good as the service if you like Thai food I would recommend this place the staff were friendly too👍🏻@
Last weekend 6 of us met at Time 4 Thai for dinner. We had not seen each other in a while and the atmosphere here was the perfect setting. The lighting was low, the customers relaxed and the food delicious.
We shared fish cakes and chicken satay to start and then I had Wk4, we all shared sticky rice and noodles as side dishes. We all loved the chicken satay and my main course was delicious, all of our plates were cleared.
The service was not overly friendly but it was very prompt.
This was my first Thai experience in Edinburgh and I really enjoyed it, so I'll most certainly be returning.
Fantastic Thai restaurant! Portions are a good size and the food is wonderfully presented. The staff are also lovely. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great traditional food, al la carte menus has a fantasic selection for all appetites to Thai food. Great value for money with the business lunch too, 4 courses for £18.
Nice place with a good selection of food. We ended up ordering a mixed starter platter, my friend had a Phad Keemao and I had the Thai Duck Mango Salad a d banana fritters for dessert. The food waa overall quite good. The fishcakes were a bit dry and odd and were left on our plate, but the sauces were amazing and the rest of the platter really good. The Phad Keemao and the mango salad were also really good, although the mango was cut like continental chips and was a bit on the bland side. Dessert was nice. Service was good.
Visited this restaurant as part of a large group. Service was very good. Everyone in my group was pleased with their choices, including a few who have been to Thailand. My starter was fish cakes tasted fine but had an odd rubbery texture - I'm not sure if this is in the style of Thai cooking or not. The lighting, decor and general ambiance is nice.
Really nice thai restaurant with delicious food and attentive staff. Only complaint is that the starters seemed very expensive as they were around £12 each
It was quite the surprise to discover time 4 Thai. The food was delicious, interior was elegantly decorated and service was great!

Okay. A decent quality lunch in a nice setting is all we wanted and this need was met.
The food was good, not amazing. We ordered Tom Yum, the green curry and the cashew chicken. Tom yum lacked the usual complexity of flavour. Green curry was quite nice.
Service was slow and inattentive.
It's a little tucked away and seemed a bit quiet when we went it, but the service was attentive, friendly and fast and the food was delicious - the sweetcorn fritters were some of the best I've ever had! I also tried a dessert of sweet, sticky rice with mango. It was a slightly alarming colour and was definitely unusual to a Western palate, but it was delicious. All the food is really fresh and flavourful.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. And the food is VERY good. Up there with the best Thai I've had actually. The coconut rice is the perfect consistency, the green curry is the right amount of hot and the flavours are perfect. The banana fritter wasn't stodgy but perfectly crisp and coconutty. Good covid measures in place too. Will definitely go back.
Amazing - food is another level. The service was brilliant and the waiter knew all about the dishes. The restaurant was really nice inside too. All came together to make a brilliant experience. Well worth a visit.
