Fun atmosphere, definitely a younger crowd. Very welcoming, great drink specials and cool vibe. Outdoor seating until 10:00 PM.

The owner was warm and generous, and didn’t sweat the small stuff. We were in a difficult situation, and he kindly offered his help. In times like these, people with a kind heart are needed more than ever.
Went for Sunday Salsa social. Had a nice cider and danced the evening away. The staff were friendly and the dancing amd musoc were great. Really friendly people that welcomed us in and we were made to feel part of the community. If you dance you should go!
If you want to learn and dance salsa in Edinburgh well visit this place on Sundays at 8 pm. Wonderful friendly people and the music is good. The teacher is really friendly.
Had a lovely day at The City Cafe, lovely food and, staff were great, pool table placed to the back of the cafe bar.
