A great gallery hosting some amazing pictures Has a cafe for grabbing a drink. Well worth a visit just to see what's there. Entry cost is free but you can donate. You can spend a good couple of hours here easily. A really good place to visit.

A fascinating collection of European art staring from Italian and northern Renaissance up to early 20th century masters. Its main draw is it rich collection of Scottish artists. The entrance is free, it can get very crowded and the gift shop and 2 cafes provide a nice stop for rest.
It's a nice gallery. I love the atmosphere and the unusual red wall. Definitely a must visit after walking a lot in Edinburgh, just have a rest to enjoy the paintings. Great collection. If you are someone who enjoys art, do visit. Its free and accessible everyday 10 am to 5 pm. Its situated in Prince's street so very easy to get to as well. They have a cafe and a gift shop.
Lovely spot on our Edinburgh trip. Saw some Van Gogh paintings! Would also recommend the restaurant on groundfloor to grab some scones and brownies 💯
Not a person to be a gallery type of guy. But my god, the painting of especially scotland blew me away and came away inspired. A great, clean facility and interactive options for children.
