Brill-i-ant! Absolutely fantastic gourmet food, truly a hidden gem. Come and come again for lunch or dinner and explore the menu, which changes often. They have something for literally every taste and dietary preference. Imaginative dishes with immaculate presentation and taste, served by helpful an
Great food at a reasonable price. Came for lunch and pre theatre at separate occasions. Recommended.
Great place for a dinner. Delicious dishes!!! Will back there!
Good place serving decent sized portions of tasty food. Rotational menu but pretty nice range of standard bistro fare done really well. I had a slow cooked lamb and it was really tasty. For dessert, I would actually recommend the cheese platter, which was amazing. Only downside is that it is noisy.
I was there with a party of six last night and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Like many others have already said, the service is friendly and excellent but you should expect a busy place where everyone of the staff is constantly moving. We all had variations of the set menus and every course was excell
Regular customer, one of my favourite resturants, great food, fantastic value supper menu, friendly staff, the Apartment never disappoints. Great for an after work dinner, pre-theatre meal, for a celebration or a supper for two. Welcoming atmosphere so you would feel comfortable dining alone as well
We went on a quiet lunchtime, so there wasn’t much atmosphere and it was on the cold side (inside and out). The service was good, I found the flat iron steak was a little flavourless and was cooked more than I’d asked for. It also arrived just barely warm, with garlic butter on top was more raw garl
This is my absolute go-to for food in the area - not only is the food and wine fantastic and high quality, but the service is great, friendly and welcoming and they have a fantastic set menu that means you can have a really delicious meal at a bargain price of £15. There is no such thing as bad wine
Been 3 times in last 2 weeks. As far as I'm concerned best place to eat in Edinburgh. Great food flavour combination and cooked to perfection. So easy to eat healthy if you want to and enjoy every morsel. Wonderful staff. So good so busy. Book table in advance to avoid disappointment
I have eaten here many times, I live around the corner. Lovely food, atmosphere and service. Extra mention and thanks must go to staff who were wonderful one night when I took ill, suddenly. Hadn't had a chance to have single bite of the lovely food as I felt ill and had to run home.....Hubby was
First visit to this restaurant. My mum and two sisters were going to see Sunshine on Leith at the King's nearby. Food lovely and lots of choices of food I'd never heard of! It was delicious, our waiter was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful!! If you are looking for something different, try o
I really like this place. It has an adventurous menu without being pretentious. It's reasonably smart dining out without the need to dress up. It is popular so the service can be a little slow.
In easy reach of Morningside and a worthwhile stroll from the West End, this outstanding restaurant /Bistro is designed to offer anyone who enjoys fresh, flavoursome and creative food, a perfect treat. Great value, changing menus, served by knowledgeable staff who deliver excellent service. My favou
At the Apartment for our 5th wedding anniversary. The food was lovely, the staff friendly and helpful and it was a very nice dining experence. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively and it was buzzing with diners and food was delivered promptly and beautifully presented, especially Dessert! Wil
Had the evening set menu. Venison Pie & Chicken Supreme, whilst my partner had the rib-eye. Fantastic food, good value and excellent service. Will definitely return.
Peaceful and warm atmosphere with delicious food. Service was exact; they noticed when we needed things, but didn't bother us when we didn't. The food was excellent!
I really like the apartment and have been a few times now for dinner. This atmospheric restaurant has incredibly friendly staff that serve delicious food. The ox cheek was so tender and full of flavour. My only criticism would be of the portion sizes - if you get the early bird deal, they can be a b
