Food was delicious with a good price point, service was friendly. Most Thai restaurants in Western countries are too localised in terms of flavour, but Ting Thai strikes a good balance. Especially loved the massaman curry and beef salad.

I've been here twice and the food is good, tasty and well made. I do think it's overpriced comparatively though, even with fringe prices, and the staff are busy so abrupt.

Incredible authentic Thai food in the heart of Edinburgh for extremely reasonable prices. Our waiter was patient and kind and even gave us recommendations for places to visit and stores to shop at in Edinburgh. We loved each of our meals and ended up going again the next day. I would absolutely recommend the Pad See Ew with chicken; it wasn't overly sweet or full of noodles like many Pad See Ew's I've had in the past; it was chock-full of complex flavors with a variety of vegetables and Thai chili. If you're in Edinburgh and around the central district, you need to stop by this place.

More of a Thai fusion, this place is legit good and fast. A couple of order mistakes, but the manager was very apologetic and helpful. The food was hot and tasty. Very filling.

Good pad Thai and curry! It's in a good location, and priced reasonably. The noodles came in a take out box, which I found a bit weird, but it still tasted good! Walkable to the university.

Yummy 🤤 in my tummy at Ting Thai Caravan First time experiencing Thai food in a buzzing and cool shop just right by McEwan Hall. The restaurant serves Thai street food. Nice selection of menus. Dishes were well presented. staff are friendly. The venue is not big so you expect to share table in the canteen style. Overall great experience 👍🏼

Ok, we come from a place with tons of Thai food options. Ting Thai is a good thai restaurant. But, I am used to being able to choose my spicy level, but they did not do that here. I asked for extra spicy for my pad thai, but unfortunately, it wasn't spicy at all (at least for me, for others, it may be perfect). For those used to ordering by star level, I am usually a 5 star person just for reference. They did give me some hot peppers for a little kick, but it was not enough for me. She did mention they had a hotter pepper if that wasn't enough, but I wasn't able to flag her down for it (it was pretty busy). Even without the spicy, it was very good pad thai. My husband got the moo yang, but it seemed to be missing something, and it didn't quite match the description. The crispy sweet potatoes were delicious, though. All in all, the meal was very good and I do think most people would be very happy, I just happen to really like very spicy Thai food.
