We dropped in one Wednesday early evening for a quick drink (£3 for various pints as mentioned before) but stayed a bit longer as although the quiz had already started, we do like a quiz! Perhaps it could start a little later to cover for those who finish work after 5?

Wasn't at all what I was expecting - I thought it would be more bar with a very cool hipster vibe where in fact its more restaurant with quite an industrial feel of exposed bricks, copper, metal and wood with a mix of soft ad hard seating. It has a very open feel about it and although not hipster it is modern.
We went in a large group straight after work on a week night and the place wasn't busy although by the time we left it was slowly filling up.
Our waiter was very pleasant and quite patient with us as we were ordering food and cocktails.
Much of our orders consisted of burgers, and I opted for the burger with no bun (on my low calorie eating plan) and I was delighted to see that they served it on a large lettuce leaf to act as my 'bun'. The menu includes various burgers, pizzas and salads with sides. They also do breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Cocktails range from the Boo Ya Cachaca to the Old Fashioned to a very interesting Smoked Cherry Manhattan that is delivered to your table in a smoke filled closhe.
The food is good. The cocktails are fab.
A nice wee bar/restaurant in the West End.

Revere have arrived in style to Edinburgh’s West End with Foundry 39, following on from the success of The Fire Station in Waterloo London, the award-winning The Lost & Found in Birmingham and The Huntsman of Brokenhurst in the New Forest. Having attended the opening night and marvelled at the smoking cocktails, paper-thin sourdough pizzas and epic burgers, we jumped at the chance to revisit to take an even bigger bite out of Foundry 39’s offerings.

The plates are good, drinks too and the ambiant is pretty. The waiters are nice and the service is pretty fast. However they put several charges on the ticket without saying anything and for more than 15% of the total amount.

Always feel very warmly welcomed. We had booked ahead and were given a lovely comfortable table. Food was delicious - really like the small sharing plates. Enjoyed a couple of really good cocktails and it was all very reasonably priced. Definitely hope to return again soon - also really appreciate F39 being dog friendly! ☺️

Fantastic place ! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The pub had a rustic charm that added to the overall ambiance. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. The food was delicious. Highly recommend for a great evening! Maciej made sure everything was fine. I feel well served 10/10 !

Great variety of food and drinks. It was the day of the Scotland Vs Ireland rugby match so the food service was extremely slow. Perhaps more staff on in the kitchen for days like that. Overall, had a good experience though. Highly recommend a visit.

Really enjoyed our dining experience at Foundry39. The restaurant decor, ambience and music were ideal for our group. Our waitress was top notch too. Menu options were good and food was very tasty. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Edinburgh.

Our wedding welcome party at Foundry 39 was absolutely fantastic! The beautiful venue, delicious food and drinks, all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Lewis’s excellent communication and friendliness made the booking process seamless even from oversea. Tyler, Jen, and Nick took great care of our big group! The pub quiz added extra fun, and the compliments from our guests were endless. Foundry 39 left us with a fantastic impression, and we’re incredibly grateful for hosting our special celebration. Many thanks to the outstanding team!

We had a joint 30th birthday party here and it was the ideal location for our group of about 50 guests. The staff are AMAZING, they were so relaxed and happy to help with everything we needed. They helped make the whole evening run smoothly and everyone had a great time. Great food menu available, large selection of cocktails and drinks and a fun vibe in the whole place. Thank you Foundry, especially all of the staff who helped make the night 10/10!

This was a last minute late night stop for us, trying to find somewhere to eat in at around 21:30-21:45 - most places we found finished serving at 21:00 so our options were limited. Foundry 39 serve food until 22:00. The food we had was nice and tasty but the choices were a little limited for someone who needs gluten free. The cocktails we had were nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.
