A romantic ant authentic corner of old Edinburgh, with a silver lining of Italian taste! The best espresso in Edinburgh!! Excellent choice of cakes plus awesome Focaccia's lunches! Cannot wait to be back!! ♥

Very cozy cafe near Edinburgh Castle. The vanilla latte was delicious! I wished I hadn’t just eaten lunch because the sandwiches in the display case looked AMAZING! Fun spot to sit & watch tourists as well.

The gluten free orange cake is amazing! I always go there for that, but I am sure other food is as great! Of course, the coffee is delicious too, and great atmosphere! Today was busy, and yet they were very efficient.

Really pleased with the food and was served very quickly as well. Everything tasted fresh and was definitely well executed. Cafe has a very nice vibe with antique radios etc. making up part of the decor. Situated in a great location too.
Lost a star for cleanliness. We chose a table which had obviously not been cleaned, then moved to another which again, was not cleaned. Takes literally 30 seconds to do a quick wipe down before taking an order, disappointing this wasn’t done.

Super cute cafe, good variety of offerings. I got a chai latte and cheese scone, and both were delicious. Will definitely return to try a sandwich!

Hard not too love the Hideout. Food is always as unique as it is delicious, serving classic dishes with simple, but effective twists. Service is always friendly, the delivery speedy and the price reasonable. If you're looking for a breakfast spot in Leith, this place is a must.
