Lovely wee cafe in Edinburgh. We were staying in an AirBnB around the corner from this place and disappointingly only discovered it in our last days there. Great atmosphere and food was delicious. Service was great too and very friendly. Highly recommend going here if you are in the area.

Lovely time at this lovely coffee place, great to relax after a tough day at work or for a check-point in vacations. The service was great and the food homemade, just exquisite; specially the sweat cakes with fresh fruits. 100% recommended.

Super lovely coffee shop with delicious coffee and cakes!!! Love everyone working there! Everyone is sooo lovely and friendly! My favourite place for treats in Edinburgh!!! 😉 Shout out to Ingrida and Mara! Xx
What a cute little cozy cafe! Nice comfy seating, free wifi and a book club!! Good latte.
Nice little coffee shop, limited in food offerings but made up for good coffee hot chocolate and cakes.
What a lovely little find! Wonderful business owner, an absolutely delicious latte and gorgeous cakes. What’s not to love!
Unexpected and lovely coffee shop in a quiet but centric street in Edinburgh. The girl who attended us was lovely and the moka was great (I had the salted caramel one). Looks it is dog friendly too! We will come back soon
I don’t give 5 stars ratings easily, I appreciate good service, food and drinks quality, and I find it useful when I can spot space for improvement. However, for this business, at the moment I don’t have any suggestions at the moment: I love the space ambience, the owner is great for little chat and is very attentive - probably the best cafe experience I have had in my life. She makes the best coffee - attention to detail, fast and efficient, going the extra mile as she loves her job. It used to be my Friday treat coffee when I was working close by, and I try finding the time nowadays to go back and enjoy one of the best coffees in town (not a coffee expert and I don’t have experience from all Edinburgh cafes - so I can’t say the best - yet!! ) . Looking forward to what the future will bring for this cafe! Best wishes, Mick
I stumbled across this lovely oasis late on my first day in Edinburgh and my oh my what a find! The place itself is clean, stylish, contemporary and cosy. The owners are very friendly and welcoming but unlike many places, not in your face. The drinks and food served is first class although I have to admit I only had a cappuccino and a selection of their beautiful home made cakes. I say a selection because I loved it so much in there I visited again the following two days.
As with many of the best places it's the little things which stand out. Such as the small slice of fruit cake and minted water with your coffee. Or the fish tank in the back room.
It's not the cheapest coffee shop in town but if you want an experience that is first class then it's worth paying just a few pennies more.
It will be the first place I visit on my return to the city. Thoroughly recommend.

This place is heavenly. The food is so delicious. The coffee is the best I've ever had. Their teas are life giving (can cure the worst hangovers). And to top it all off the staff are some of the nicest people you could ever meet.
I'd never hesitate to introduce and recommend Strumpets to anyone out and about in Edinburgh.
