We have just came back from holidays and decided to have a carvery at Westgate farm. Food was amazing, everything freshly cooked and great portions. Service was on point as well.
Definitely coming back!
Absolutely beautiful! We travel here anytime we want a carvery. The food choice is top notch. Can't be beaten and is good value for money. If you leave your carvery you can ask for a takeaway box to take the rest home with you. You wont be disappointed here.
Favourite place to bring the kids, really chilled atmosphere, there is a family dinning area with a play area so kids can play and be silly so if you have kids like mine who struggle to sit still for a full meal time, this place is perfect. Good value for money aswell. Staff are always friendly. Especially the server with the clock tattoos on her arm she likes a wee chat witch is nice. Definitely my go to spot when I can't be bothered too cook after work.
I recommend the hunters chicken and the kids chicken combo meal goes down well for my son who's a very fussy eater.
We came to this wonderful restaurant perfect for families as it has a play area,we came about 4 times and the food always delicious.We meet Lorna today she was serving us breakfast and she was very helpful and kind.We thank every member of the staff for all the hard work. Well done!
We were staying at the Travel Lodge opposite and so ate here for three evenings. Every member of staff we met was friendly and welcoming, it made for a great atmosphere. Food for all three meals was cooked well and having the range of meals was spot on. Very comfortable restaurant and all in all made for a great part of our trip, especially after touring Edinburgh and the surrounding area it was nice to then have a filling and cosy meal afterwards. Easy to order and never had to wait for anything. Thank you to all the staff over the days we visited.
Very tasty food, particularly the Carvery. Great quality, hot and fresh and not stingy with the carved meat unlike some other Carveries. Staff friendly and attentive too. Will be back.
I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Lorna today, who was so lovely to chat to! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the atmosphere is wonderful. We waited here whilst waiting for our taxi to the airport back to London, and we’ve been made to feel so very at home here. :)
Sineade, Lewis, Lorna and the Kitchen Manager Dougie were on duty today. We had the carvery with beautifully roasted, delicious, tender meats and well cooked veggies. The atmosphere in this Greene King place was homely and we had a lovely lunch. Living on the south side of Edinburgh it will be worth the journey to return. Thank you all. Geoff, Jonathon and Anne.
I went there yesterday and was served by a great young lady. I didn't catch her name but I remember she said it was her first day, well done to the young generation for working hard . Despite it being her first day the service was great. Our food didn't take long to arrive and the atmosphere was really nice. 10/10 recommend for anyone looking to grab some good food with their family or friends.
Very welcoming when I walking. My servers V and Claire were very polite and friendly making me feel welcomed. I had a steak and chocolate fudge cake which were great. Need a reprint of my receipt after I had eaten that I had forgotten to ask for and V made sure I was able to get another copy. Would happily go again.
