Was in on sunday with my partner and kids for our carvery and was served by sharon who was extremely helpful.she was great helping with kids getting them high chairs and colouring sheets.nothing was too much bother for her especially when my son dropped his dinner. Will definitely be back
Wow.. I wish I could go at least every day of the week.. I've yet to try Thursday's curry night! The food here is so delicious, and my family loves this place. Value for money, endless portions, healthy foods, great desserts, fab service ..and cosy atmosphere! The Carvery is just so different to any restaurant! Unlimited veg is the bonus
Stayed in the hotel attached to this Toby and ate in the restaurant. Tempted by the look of the carvery and we were not disappointed! Beef succulent, Turkey was scrumptious! Roast potatoes were to die for and the Yorkshires were massive! Breakfast was also amazing! Especially likes the breakfast Haggis!
Go for breakfast on a Wednesday, this was my first time at this branch as my local one was closed due to electrical problem.
Very nice set up, better than Morton hall with better quality of food.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
I’d choose this one over my local one but it’s a little bit out the way.
Popped in for Sunday lunch after visiting zoo, otherwise too far out of city. Basic carvery. Good service but had to ask if any more beef as limited choice at 3pm. Not sure if they would have bought anymore out if we hadn't of asked. Very small portions of meat, the rest was made up of various forms of potato.
Fabulous location for visiting Edinburgh. Bus stop directly outside where the 26 bus takes you right into the centre for £2. (Oct 23). Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Parking included. The road it's in has a few shops, a Wetherspoons, and a great Indian Restaurant. 👌
We visited the Innkeeper's Toby Carvery Edinburgh West for a second time (previously visited a year ago). We love Innkeeper's Toby Carvery Edinburgh West - the hospitality, the rooms, the food. The staff was very friendly, exactly as we remembered it last year. The food was amazing, again as we remembered it last year. If we visit Edinburgh again, Innkeeper's Toby Carvery Edinburgh West will be our definite choice as the place to stay. Thank you!
Came for a Sunday carvery. First time in a Toby in about 15 years and it was as good as I remembered. Our waitress Donna was super friendly and efficient. I had no idea that Toby did Mac and cheese but it was hands down the best part of the meal. Totally unexpected! Yorkies were also absolutely top notch. We will be back!
Me and my partner had a really nice time, our server Dom was extremely helpful and amazing. He definitely looked after us.
Nice place. We spent here nearly hour. 6 people we had carvery. Was delicious. Only the problem we had parking fine. After 10 days. Nobody mentioned about parking even all staff. Contacted restaurant explain situation. Gave them ref number they said they will sort out. Let's see. Other than this everything was perfect. Thanks.
We popped in for a mid afternoon carvery and was instantly greeted by a waitress named Pamela, she was very informative about the menu and was really pleasant. She took our order promptly and we tucked into a really decent meal. We went for the meal deal and I had the apple and plumb crumble (may I suggest this if you've not tries it it was delicious)
Going back this afternoon...
We enjoyed our meal at Toby's. We were visiting from South Africa. However we have just received notification from the Car Hire company Drivalia that we have a parking fine. We parked in the car park behind the restaurant.?? £85 is rather excessive. Especially for us. Can you help us ?
