Very good experience!! The menu is incredibly versatile, the staff was very accommodative and nice (even as we arrived at peak times), and the food and coffee was phenomenal. The latte was arguably one of the best lattes I have ever had, and the food presentation was gorgeous. Everything also felt clean which is a plus! Worth waiting for a table :) we got the vanilla oat lattes, sweet and savory plate, and crushed avocado with poached egg, halloumi, and chili jam.

🍴🍳🥘🍲🥗👌😍🤤👍💯 Em's Kitchen is a hidden gem of a restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and the cozy ambiance made me feel at home. The restaurant's decor was tastefully done and added to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The menu at Em's Kitchen was impressive with a wide variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and a homemade touch. 😍 I decided to try the vegetable lasagna and it was delicious. The layers of pasta were cooked to perfection and the combination of vegetables, cheese, and tomato sauce was flavorful and satisfying. 🤤 I also tried their lentil soup, which was hearty and filling, and the perfect dish for a cold winter day. The staff at Em's Kitchen were friendly and attentive, making sure that we were happy with our food and had everything we needed. 👍 They were happy to accommodate any special requests and were knowledgeable about the menu and the ingredients used in each dish. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Em's Kitchen and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a delicious meal. The quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the exceptional service make it a standout restaurant in the area. 💯

Small but cute place off The Royal Mile. I had the Shakshuka and it was delicious! Full of flavor with a hint of spice. I paired it wth an incredibly delightful Pistachio Latte!! Great food and service in a delightful café.

Excellent customer service! Our waitress was incredibly kind and offered superb recommendations—I discovered so many new things that I now love! And the food—it’s even more delicious than it looks!! Perfect place for after hiking Arthur’s Seat!!

A fabulous little find - perfect for a brunch or sweet treat. It feels like a lovely feminine fresh place - quite instaggramable good and decor. Service is great and the eggs Benedict with salmon was just stunning. Served with an edible flower. Service was professional and unobtrusive, but could have been s little more personable. Decor was gorgeous with some nice artistic touches. The room for eating was very small and seemed to lack a little ambience - due to its size but was beautiful ! Overall Would highly recommend.

Googled and came across this has a recommended place for breakfast. We ordered pancakes. Felt that the pancakes were alittle dry though. Sauces were great. We ordered biscoff, Nutella and banana and maple syrup. Their flat white tasted great! All in all, I would recommend this place for breakfast.

Best breakfast in Edinburgh. Wish we could afford to come here all the time! Some vegan and gluten-free options.

Nice cafe atmosphere-- good music and fun decor. Service is a bit slow, but staff are friendly enough. Drinks and chips were good. Nice spot to step out of the rain for a bit.

Best pancakes ever!!! No wonder this place is packed on the weekend luckily I was still in town by monday. The pancakes were fluffy, tasty and well made. I love the way it was presented too. I had bacon and eggs on the side too. The drinks were great too. I recommend the pistachio latte. Its nicely decorated and hey have made great use of the space they have. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I must visit again.
