Food is great. Took a while to arrive (1hr30mins) but I ordered through just eat. I didn’t realise the restaurant was at the end of my street. If I knew that I’m sure I would have got the food pretty quickly as I would have picked it up myself haha

Lovely service from an extremely friendly server. The food was quite good also! I had the sizzling chicken and black sauce with peppers. I asked for it extra hot and the chef was able to accommodate no problem. I will definitely be back! 👌🙂

3rd time with Shangri-la. First time, totally nailed my request at Peking style Chicken. The best I've had.
Second time, solidly nailed it again.
Third time, the owner who is exceptional (and a comedy riot) made sure that the food was spot on. Best one yet.
Absolutely recommend. And if you're having what I'm having, have the peking style chicken (popcorn style chicken) with Singapor rice. Portions are huge. You'll want to finish a single portion on your own despite the size.

This must definitely be one of the very best Chinese Takeaway restaurants my friends and I have once again had the pleasure of ordering foods in Edinburgh. The food was ready in time but most of all every dish we ordered was delicious, and my favourites are the Singapore Fried noodles, Fried Squid in pepper, and the King Prawn Satay. Highly recommended to all the foodies out there. Guaranteed satisfaction and you'll be back for more, just like me and my friends.

Had a wonderful banquet chosen from the wide menu, favourite dish was Thai Red Curried Duck, Mongolian Beef a close second. We had takeaway and all dishes were hot and tasty with good portion sizes. Our favourite Chinese/Asian restaurant, friendly staff helps your enjoyment 👍👍

Duck with cashew nuts and fried rice was exemplary in flavour, good value and easily enough for two to share. Friendly and quick service. If you live in the area, you are lucky - they deserve your custom.

Wow the food from here is beautiful its cooked so well, its bigger portions fast delivery too.
Can I just say that I'm so used to square pieces of chicken in my curry from other places I'm just so shocked but so happy that this is not the case here the best curry I've ever had.

By far the best Chinese we’ve had! Always on time quality of the food is amazing. Very respectful and aware of my nut allergy. Always friendly and polite. Definitely 10/10

Got a take away from here tonight and was surprised at the size of the portions I got a chicken curry and my partner got a king prawn curry but to be honest we could have easily shared one portion between us. Both lovely curries will definitely be back but maybe share a portion this time 😂
