I've eaten at GBKs in London and I was thrilled to find one in Edinburgh. Lots of vegetarian options - The Californian is highly recommended. DO NOT miss the shakes, onion rings, and the TRUFFLE CHEESE FRIES.
A couple of weeks after visiting Edinburgh, I still remember how much I've enjoyed the customer service in this place. I kept telling my friend that it must be one of the best I've ever had coming in and out of the UK since 2010. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and attentive....
Nice atmosphere, decently priced, quick service. Was expecting more of a "restaurant" but this is order-at-the-counter posh fast-food kind of place. Which I love. Great for a quick bite to eat. Burger was delicious, lots of veggie options!

My juice (strawberry and elderflower) was really nice and having unlimited refill for just
£2.15 is great!! I tried the Peanut Butter Milkshake and I really liked it as well (it is a bit expensive but it is worth it).. My burger (Bacon Pesterella) had blue cheese instead of mozzarella as they didn't have it on that day. It was quite a nice burger. Not incredible different from others I've tasted it, but not bad at all. The cheese truffle fries were different from what I use to eat and I liked them. I found it really funny they have free peanuts for the customers... I tried a few... They were quite old, but yet, the idea is really cool. I also loved the container for the ketchup. The burgers could be a bit cheaper as they don't bring chips/frieds. The total was around £30 for two burgers and two drinks, but I had 15% cashback so it was at the end a decent price. A nice place in the city center that I would go again.

The milkshakes, I know its a burger place but my one point is the milk shakes, THINK, CREAMY and filling! I ordered 3 last time, and the nuts, unlimited portions of nuts!
The best burger!!!! Seriously if u are a burger lover u must visit this place. i had tried the taxi driver and it was yum! Service was quite warm n nice. you get what u pay! 👌😎
This place is amazing. Best burgers in town and the sauces and milkshakes are also delicious. A bit pricey but well worth it as the quality is top.
Also the staff is very nice and the manager super friendly and professional.

GBK is a great, local and down to earth Burger restaurant;
* I have never had a disappointing burger/meal from there out of the several times we have visited.
* The staff are always super helpful and friendly
* The burgers, there is a massive range to choose from from chicken, veggie, beef, lamp, duck... you name it, they've got it!
Personally I recommend (as quite a pernickety eater) the grilled chicken burger with salsa and lettuce alongside skin on chip fries/skinny string fries and a milkshake (more on them later).
*The choice/modification of your menu is great too.. you decide what you want, how you change it and the size you can fit in your belly, no questions asked!!
*The milkshakes are amazing... a little on the expensive side but for the quality and amount you get, its totally worth it - the Honeycomb shake is one of my favourites, not too sickly or too sweet.
*The place itself is quirky and modern and suits the menu style and there is a range of seats to choose from whether you like to be right in the middle of all the liveliness or sitting quietly enjoying the juicy burger sitting in front of you .
It a good place to meet with friends or family and me and my friends often use it as meeting point to catch up!

Really tasy burger. Had lunch special. classic burger and skinny fries for £5.95.
It was superb, really tasty burger with a toasted bun and the skinny fries were really skinny and crispy but still soft inside. Found the seasoning quite tasty too from the shaker that comes with. I'll be back for lunches whenever working in Edinburgh
Amazing burgers but if it says hot on the menu that means 'strips the lining of your mouth hot!'
One of the best burger place in Edinburgh downtown. They prepare everthing by themselves. Everything was fresh and really tasty. They also have halal option with chicken. The place was really cozy and hospitality was great. Price was reasonable. The size of the burger was huge and enough for full meal. Fries were also good. Love this place and want to try again.
Loved this place. Friendly staff, tons of options, and great food. Enjoyed a burger on a gluten free bun, with fries on the side. The service was quick and easy. There wasn’t a wait either. Would definitely recommend and will plan to return the next time I’m in town.
Probably the best burger I've had in Edinburgh in the past two years. Cooked to perfection, spot on sizes, great menu, nice atmosphere, free refills on tasty sodas... a flawless victory overall. It's a chain, so you may have tried these elsewhere, but if not, I can't recommend it highly enough.
Awesome as always! Great service, chilled out vibes but cosy seating. So much choice and very yummy 😁 this is the Blue Cheese burger. Also highly recommend having a Fresh and Fizzy, free refills on those too.
Very tasty burgers with brilliant sides. Download the app before ordering, just had 2 burgers for £12! How awesome is that? Very friendly staff makes it one the must visit places in Edinburgh.
Wonderful food & gorgeous banana milkshake. Also superb customer service, especially from Josh, who when I realised I'd not got my NUS Student Discount when ordering via the app, he sorted it all out for me!
One of the best burger places in Edinburgh, my favorite orders are the bum bum chicken burger and the truffle fries.
The place is nice, the burgers great. People correctly. Price average going to expensive (8-13£ per burger). When I visited they took some time more to server the food, exactly 25m!!
I'll say it briefly: the best burger I've even eaten not in Edinburgh, anywhere. If you're nearby, go there and order the Holly Smoke Burger with chunky fries. De-li-cious!!! 😋😋😋
There are incredibly tasty burgers at this place. The range of burgers offered is very well thought through and there is something for everyone. Considering that there are masses of burger places at the moment, I think that and the quality is what makes this restaurant stand out. Only the music was playing a bit too loud.
