Nandos is not always about its Peri Peri chicken. They also make super palate for vegetarians too. Try grilled halloumi, Super Green wraps and finish it up with a sweet Naughty nate..
The grilled halloumi is an excellent starter for not only vegetarians but others too. The cheese is carefully grilled to get that amazing texture taste. Dip it up with a hot sause to give a super fiery kick.
Super Green wrap forms the perfect main course. Wrap stuffed with mashed greens and flavoured with a hint mint, add a side or two and your sorted.
End your meal with a sweet something..Naughty Nate a tempting traditional Portuguese custard tart makes a perfect choice for dessert.
The service is always good. Never had a disappointing meal. I’ve been to the Nando’s in Doha, and the only difference between the Nando’s in the UK and Qatar is that you have to pay first in the UK. Other than that, all staff are friendly and helpful.
Everyone knows Nando's but not everyone has been yet! I've finally managed to try it today for the first time. It reminds me of the chain restaurants I've seen in the US. You're seated, you order at the bar then you get the drinks and the cutlery yourself together with the sauces. I like the concept though. You can order chicken in different forms. We went for the chicken platter for two worth £20 including a whole chicken, 2 sides - we went for chips and corn, and 2 drinks. Over all a good deal. The food was served fast and there was loads of it. The chicken was tasty and I liked the hot sauce we had on the top. Maybe too much food for lunch but it's Friday so I feel like I'm excused!
it was a delight to find nandos in edinburgh close to my hotel on princes street...i just love their chicken...my family was tired so i decided to have dinner alone...it was a nice experience...it was basically a self service outlet unlike in india where they give you a token...you place your order at the counter and the food is served at your table there...every table has a number to it..
i had half chicken with the amazing hot peri peri sauce..it sure was mouth watering..i had the wonderful sides of garlic bread and the spicy rice...i had the bottomless coke along with the meal whereby you get up and get it refilled whenever it gets empty from a nearby counter...
awesome experience...
I wasn't too sure if Nando's would be a good place to visit, I passed by it in London back in 2007 and my sister mentioned taking me there, but it never happened. When Nando's then opened in Edinburgh, I knew I had to try it.
It's an unusual set up that's surprisingly refreshing. You're met at the door by courteous staff who shows you to a table and you're given a menu to decide what you want to order. You then have to go up to the counter (don't forget your table number!) and place your order. When it's ready, it'll then be brought to your table.
You can choose pretty much what you want to eat, from the type of carb (pitta bread, bun or wrap), meat or vegetable (mainly chicken), sauce and sides. The chicken is great, I also knicked some of my friend's peri peri chips which were amazing. I would definitely recommend the portobello mushroom and halloumi pitta bread or wrap though, it's my go to meal whenever I crave a bit of Nando's, but their signature Peri Peri Chicken is also worth a try!
Amazing service and very tasty food!!! All the staff was very kind and the service was very fast! A big thanks to Harry the waiter who was very sweet and helped me with my order!
I like the concept of placing your order yourself and not having servers. The food came out really quickly! I had the chicken wrap and my husband had the chicken sandwich. Both were tasty and it is fun to try all the sauces that are available. The wrap was pretty small but that could just be my perception as an American. Atmosphere is fine but the tables are a bit too close together.
There's nothing I can complain about a nice comforting dinner in a casual environment with good service. They now have the ability to order from the app which smooths the entire process and easier to get and use rewards. A nice Nandos in an accessible location. Overall, we really liked it and the food was delicious. I'd say around £15 per person would suffice for a good meal. I'm giving 5 stars because it's exactly how it should be. I'd recommend this Nandos if you're around.
I had lunch there with my friend and ordered butterfly chicken with 2 sides (spicy rice and steamed broccoli). It was really nice. The restaurant is quite spacious. I also ordered the brownies and love it. The staffs are very friendly and helpful too. I enjoyed my visit here.
Their highest level of spiciness makes my lips look like having a lip filler haha. It is still good. Well balanced meal. Spicy grains are great too. Halloumi fried just ok. Salad was fresh. Butterfly chicken looks small at first but it was quite fulfiling
Still the best for chicken grill. Taste always the best of the best. Service also real great. One down point would be take some time to get our order.
Delicious food, butterfly chicken is gorgeous, peri peri is unforgettable, strongly recommended...
Donna that works here is lovely! She greeted us at the door and continued to serve us whilst we were there, she was really friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The food was great and was ready quickly.
The whole place was nice and clean.
Not a fan of using a QR code to place and order then manually typing in my credit card details and providing my email address. Also had to pick up my own cutlery. 5 stars for the food and atmosphere, 1 star for the service because there is none.
Fantastic dining experience with this Nando’s location.
The staff were very attentive and all our requested food & drink was brought to our table swiftly. The vibe of the restaurant is brilliant, especially after nightfall - the lighting is soft and ember-like with relaxing music playing in the background.
The food is of a very good standard, the flavours are punchy, tangy, subtly sweet and lightly Smokey. The Peri-peri chicken and the Peri salt chips are delicious, so too are the olives as a starter options.
Sagres was delivered chilled with condensation beading down the outside of the bottle - exactly how a bottled beer should be served.
In all, you get a relaxing environment, fast-food service partnered with restaurant level quality and attentiveness. A combination that can’t be faulted.
Highly recommend this location, situated near a lot of bars nearby and would be a great place to start a night-out. Alternatively, a great venue for couples, small groups and larger gatherings alike to grab some food out and about.
