Brasserie Prince - Edinburgh - Photo album

Cocktails were amazing. Service was fabulous - Peter was very friendly and professional. He knew the menu incredibly well and was kind enough to recommend things to do. 5 star service indeed ! Only a 4 star because of the toilets sadly.
Just a quiet beverage in between shopping . *Returned for my 50th birthday meal. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. from arrival, the staff were very polite and welcoming. Showed us to our table and had water straight away . The menu is very classy, with a good range of dishes to suit. Not over com
We were here after being given a meal for two gift experience for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Although the restaurant was quiet, the atmosphere felt great and the music was perfect, making the restaurant somewhere we would certainly return to. Portion sizes were very gen
This place didn’t disappoint! We wanted a little extra for Friday night dinner on our trip to Edinburgh. We got a little extra; the place was gorgeous, classic French interior and waiters in white shirts. Staff was very welcoming and attentive, the food was sublime, and a small, but high standard wi
Excellent food and very good service with a couple of negative points. We really liked the salmon and the mussels, as well as the endive salad and the fries. The desserts were very good too. 4 stars instead of 5 for only two reasons: - the salmon supposedly came with truffles but there wasn't a hi
The food and service are 5 stars! The best brasserie in Edinburgh. Thanks John and Calder.
Food was great, service impecible and lovely ambiance. Also a lovely touch as they over heard it was my birthday
Called in for my birthday lunch with my wife. I had a steak and sweet and my wife had the 2 course lunch menu. Fabulous food, in fact one of the best meals we’ve had for a long long time. Really nice staff who took time to chat and brought me out a macaroon with a candle in it which I thought a love
Fantastic Prince punch cocktail and customer service. The staff who served us was very knowledgeable about drinks and cocktails and her recommendations were excellent.
Certainly more a 4.5*. The informal and relaxed restaurant of the well renown Balmoral Hotel (Sean Connery, JK Rowling among others are names associated to this wonderful hotel). A Brasserie more in name than in essence, it'a very stylish and chic restaurant offering high quality French cuisine, wit
We went last night for dinner. Lovely atmosphere, the most fantastic service from Brendan, wine and food delicious. Attention to detail, and everything we hoped the food would be. I'd recommend for celebration with family or friends - great cocktails too.
Excellent French brasserie in the famous Balmoral Hotel.... striking that space between fine dining and regular fare... we had Scottish fresh seafood (salmon and halibut) well prepared in French stlye with local produce. Approachable wine list with plenty of options by the glass. The atmosphere wa
Peter (the bar manager), Ruri the bartender, Victor the bartender, and the other staff were a real treat! The drinks were also amazing and worth the slightly higher price. Would def recommend!!
Lovely for an afternoon break and cocktail with oysters - we didn’t have a reservation but the crew managed to fit us in :) I ordered the Perfect Serve and it was perfect. Our only regret was we didn’t get a dozen oysters instead of half a dozen!
Having done the entire Balmoral experience, the Brasserie Prince is more casual but the food and service is still top notch and reasonable priced. Tried haggis for the first time and their dish was a deconstructed version, which was not bad, considering organ meat is not my fav. But gotta at leas
When in Edinburgh, The Brasserie Prince (inside The Balmoral Hotel) is our go to Sunday lunch restaurant. We adore it’s classic, elegant, delicious food and have never had a less than perfect meal. The staff are excellent. Attentive, friendly and the food is scrumptious. I was so looking forward to
Really good food!! Fantastic service and a very enjoyable experience. A great way to end our trip in Edinburgh. We have always wanted to visit the Balmoral hotel so this was memorable for us, thank you!
Really impressive food and the highest quality service. Relaxed layout and a lovely atmosphere inside. Would highly recommend for someone looking for a special meal whilst visiting Edinburgh.
My wife and I were looking to see what the hotel was that this brasserie was in. A member of staff came out to say hello and invited us in to have a quick look around. Decided to have a drink whilst there. Very attentive staff, lovely setting and prices less than anticipated.
