Lovely relaxing music and atmosphere. Excellent cannoli's and cupcakes. Will visit again! The kids and I had a hoot.

An absolutely lovely place to go, especially with friends and some time on your hands since they've got a great variety of boardgames! Went there with some friends for a quick coffee and ended up staying 2 hours playing monopoly. They sell some amazing coffee with Nutella (really recommend it!) and delicious, homemade pastries and cakes made by the owners wife. Both are very nice people too. Loved it!

A lovely place with extremely friendly staff. They welcomed all my requests for a vegan and soy free cake for my graduation. The pastries are very tasty too. Could not recommend it more!

It's one of the places that I really enjoy going. Cosy environment, nice and relaxing background music and very friendly staff. We tried it's breakfast which was very good and we also tried so of the deserts. Try the Italian dessert that is served hot ( I don't remember it's name, sorry) , it's awesome!

I liked the cosy atmosphere and family run business. Lovely decor, staff very pleasant and the coffee and cakes were reasonably priced.

Stayed in Edinburgh for 4 days and this was our breakfast destination every morning, a fantastic atmosphere with incredibly friendly and attentive staff, would highly recommend for an economical but good morning start!

Fantastic café serving quick meals, cakes, coffee and tea. Prices are reasonable, service is very friendly and everything we tried was delicious. I especially enjoyed the mushroom soup, the creamy pesto pasta which was served with a generous topping of chopped walnuts, and the cannoli. The coffee is equally good and they have a wide range of teas. We can't wait to go back!
Update: Made to order cakes are tasty, beautifully decorated and very reasonably priced. I'm never making another birthday cake again!

The place is amazing, so is the food. We had cream pesto pasta and it was delicious. Chips and tea were also nice. The best part was the family who was running the cafe, they are so friendly.

Spent a few days in Edinburgh for the Fringe and went here for breakfast twice. Run by a lovely family serving a great Scottish breakfast, Nutella-infused coffee and owls everywhere! Loved it!

Enjoyed bacon and sausage morning rolls here and was very impressed.Tasty and fresh. The coffee was fab too. Although we did not try the cakes we will next time as they looked delicious. The staff were lovely and trying very hard to make everything right . We loved the owls too . We just came across this cafe by accident as we don't know the area ( dropping daughter off for uni ) but we felt very lucky to have stumbled across such a pleasing establishment .

A Place where you Can find lovely, chatty and friendly people and where you Can taste the Real Italian coffee. I try different cakes and a cheesecake and they were Just Amazing. I should come back more often. For those Who put a complain, I can really tell that this is One of the cleanest Place you Can find here in Edinburgh. Well done guys!

Authentic! The delizia is to die for and the cakes are delicious. The servers are very sweet, they were concerned my cake slice wouldn't be fresh enough so they cut open a new cake, just for me! The matcha latte was tasty and not too sweet. Student discount a big plus. Very reasonably priced.
