Food quality above average. Service friendly.
Had a very enjoyable night here. Firstly I have always loved the rotating tables which are present in good Chinese restaurants, I feel they really add to the social aspect of any meal in an absolutely delightful way, its almost like having a picnic but in a classy place.
We ordered a mix of food and it was all great! Since visiting China I have been on a quest to find dumplings just like over there and the dumplings I ordered were extremely good, though sadly they lacked that explosion of liquid you should get when you bite in (though perhaps its just me being ignorant of proper translation).
Staff were extremely friendly too, definitely a good shout if you're looking for a classier, tastier and more authentic alternative to you friday night take away.
Not your traditional post-pub Chinese food but it was a good idea all the same. Myself and some friends wound our way to this restaurant after a few pints in search of sustenance. Service was excellent as the staff seem able to sense when you need the bathroom and direct you to it. The menu is huge but I was a bore and opted for an old favourite - sweet and sour chicken. This was excellently presented, and after drowning in soy sauce and fumbling blindly with the chopsticks I found my appetite satisfied. The house White was bitter and tasted of neat alcohol - not terrific but sufficient for the purpose I had in mind for it.
