Truva is a friendly cafe well suited for many purposes. They have a nice variety of food selection (including Turkish dishes) for very affordable prices. Their coffee selections are also good and they offer a spacious environment to come by yourself or with a groups of friends.

Got a simple burger, with a student's discount. Large portion. I liked the tomatoes and lettuce on the side. Good service. I love the wooden decor and the large windows.

A wonderful, unexpected gem right on the Royal Mile! Moderately priced, fun Mediterranean/Scottish foods (I had the haggis and couscous, wonderful!). I’ll give it my highest praise, “I’d go back.”

This is a little gem of a place tucked away just off the grass market the staff are great the breakfast even better. I usually go between the 1 on the royal mile and the one on lady Lawson street both equally as good and you might even learn a bit of history about truva. Definitely a great way to start the day

Stopped in here for my morning coffee nearly every day for the past 2 years. The lattes are spot on. Nice cakes too. Friendly helpful staff. Would recommend.

Just around the corner from the Novotel hotel and the Arts college. I popped in for brunch and really enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast with a pot of Turkish apple tea. Sat in the window and watched the World go by. Was cheap and service was quick. They have wifi but wasn't sure of the password.

Awesome coffee, wonderful staff, great ambiance, very welcoming. I found this little cafe on accident, and I'm so glad I did. I loved it!

I had to come here for an emergency sliced sausage roll which was decent and freshly cooked (although the roll could have been better), after I had asked for the same thing at Alexanders just around the corner only to be given a sesame seed roll with poor quality link sausage from the microwave (the first time in my life I've ever thrown a snarler away).

I give 5/5 for the ratio between price and quality for coffees for take away. As far I am concerned, it's one of the cheapest cofee places I have been so far in Edinburgh!
