Cocktail and dessert are interesting and satisfying. Salmon and pastry are great but the side veg is bit plain and boring (could use some glazing with oil or butter I suppose). Free parking on site. Website booking are straightforward and easy. Not crowded for lunch. Nice pub, the food was really good. I had the beef lasagna, which was delicious, and also was the crispy garlic bread that came.with it and the spring fresh side salad..All in a very good quality and well prepared! The service could have been a bit more attentive; the ( relatively young) girl was not really friendly. There were just two service people though and they were quite busy, so maybe they were just a bit overworked.. Overall recommendation, good food and nice premises.

Had dinner there Tuesday evening as we was staying in the attached hotel, the food was good and the gentleman that served us was great but he did forget our onion rings we added to the order (didn't get charged). We placed our order but had to change it, they had no sirloin steak and no sticky toffee pudding, just happened to be what we wanted at that time, service was fairly slow to be honest and the restaurant was pretty quiet. Over all the food was good and the service staff were polite 🙂
