Amazing place to visit.
It is a big garden centre with a farm shop selling locally produced meat and produce, but the mature grounds of the garden centre are landscaped and include some amazing artistic exhibits.
Some exhibits can be purchased. Many are built into the landscaping, like the amazing "Yew tree Spirits", the "Reclining woman", and many ideas for water features, faery gardens, statues, arches and walled gardens.
The gardening shops are well stocked, and whilst the prices can a little high on some items, the plants are well looked after and it's free to walk round and view the exhibits.
The cafe is well run, with a basic range of tasty food, and safely distanced and operated in these worrying times of Covid 19.
Well worth a visit.
Stopped in for lunch good food nice staff nice location not to busy great garden centre and shop would be nice in the summer.
Highly recommended! Brought my mum through from Glasgow and she loved it. Huge range of plants, must be the biggest in Scotland. Cafe was lovely too, I had the lemon drizzle and it was absolutely delicious, I was tempted to ask for the recipe. Shop was fab, I'll definitely come back for Christmas presents!
Huge selection of plants and assorted trinkets and doobops. Very nice cafe and gift area with some lovely cats roaming around. Some nice art too.
Amazingly set gardens and good variety of plants. Not very budget friendly but all things garden usually aren't so was expecting it. Staff was friendly and the café is adorable. Toilets sparkling clean and the whole place felt very safe covid wise. Would definitely recommend even for a browse .

A wonderful garden centre brimming full of inspirational ideas and an enormous number of good quality well priced house plants and garden plants. Knowledgeable helpful staff and a tasty tearoom.
Nice cafe/restaurant. Good selection of plants, pots and other garden accessories.
It is good for buying plants and it's nice to sit outside and have lunch, Hopetoun is a very old historic place the owners are extremely wealthy, they owned the land when there wasn't any oil and there's tips of burnt shale all around where I stay, but of course not never the ancient house where they stay, most of the ground is private but bus loads of tourists come and anteek shows are held in part of the house, their Ritch friends come and do some shooting pheasants. Then there's the Bins house where Tam deyel the famous labour MP lived hes dead now but in about the 1600s hls great great great great grandfather was known as bloody Tam he rounded up the coventanters, that is all I am saying, if you want to know more I am sure you can pick up books about it all, what am I saying you know more than me.
