Just ordered the North Indian tandoori chicken from the specials menu and it was AMAZING! best takeaway I've had for years, and I'm a big takeaway lover! Yum!
I love the Mint Takeaway. I have used it many times. The staff are so friendly, tonight I asked for a dish that is not on the main menu and it was made to perfection. Thanks guys, you do a great job.
One the best refreshing Indian Bangladeshi takeaway in Edinburgh! The food is always delicious! Sometimes you go to takeaways and you never get that consistency! I really like how the takeaway is so clean! Bright and fresh colours which makes the place even more inviting! I've had most of the dishes from Mint, favourite would be The CHICKEN TIKKA BIRYANI ! Its very different from all other indian takeaways/restaurants! Price range around £5-£12 per head.

Rare to find an amazing prawn (not King) dish with a delicious sauce with coconut and pineapple, samosas out of this world, my husband's chilli garlic chicken was amazing, having tried many Indian deliveries wherever we have lived, this exceeds them all !

Best Indian takeaway we've tried for some time, fresh, large chunks of chicken, great pakoras/samosas', kids love the Korma & Peshwari naan breads here and tried the Punjabi chicken which was excellent! Hats off to the kitchen Saturday evening. Highly recommended!

A simple little takeaway outfit that doesn't offer any sit-in options. However, the food is pretty good. I had a lamb dish, which was amazing (the lamb was incredibly tender) and a chicken dish (the chicken was a little bit tougher though) but the flavours were excellent!
The food is delicious. Everything tasted great so I'll happily order from here again.
Food was fantastic! Huge portions! Perfect for a easy family meal. So many good Gluten free options. (Vegan and more) Very friendly staff and fast. Very clean and was a nice experience overall. We will be back.

I had the Channa Puree to start followed by an Aubergine and potato curry with rice ...everything was delicious and cooked fresh . I definitely recommend and will use again .

It’s very disappointing to find what appears to be fake bad reviews of Mint, made almost certainly by a rival business. I am a regular customer and I have also seen the kitchen operation at first hand. Jay works incredibly hard and his success is based on lots of very happy customers and repeat business. False allegations can be very damaging and I would urge the perpetrator to remove the post concerned along with other fake reviews of Indian takeaways in Portobello.
Wecgot a takeaway for two of the specials menu which was through a gift voucher I'd won at work. And it was really good no complaints from me and within the shop was nice and clean with friendly staff. Definatley go back.
