Their website was very straightforward and easy to navigate. The products were all reasonably proced. Online payment accepts Paypal which is very convenient. Order arrived earlier than expected. The products were all packaged well and still very much frozen. The quality of the sausages were excellent and definitely value-for-money. We will definitely be ordering again (and again) :)

The most delicious German sausages ever! Since they have the online shop it has been the highlight of the weird times we are in right now! I always wanted to take pictures of the food that we added the most delicious sausages to (fried with egg, pasta with cheese sauce and crispy fried onions, for example). Unfortunately I never managed because of our impatient son who says" it's really yummy for my tummy mummy". Excellent customer service!

I cannot recommend On The Roll more! I knew their sausages with homemade sauce from their stall on George Square which I have for lunch anytime when being nearby. Being German myself, I can honestly say that they have the most delicious Bratwurst I've ever had. I usually go for the Currywurst, as it has two sausages in it. Since it is possible to buy On The Roll products online we order it regularly. Try the Smoked Frankfurter cold or slice it up and fry it! Yummy! The Goulash Soup is very special, with delicious spices. The Leberwurst is particularly nice with pickled gherkins. The service is extremely friendly and efficient!

Simply said the best sausage you can find in Edinburgh. Here you can buy original German sausage, that is just heavenly delicious with all its seasoning. The best is also their home made curry sauce. If you are hungry and looking for something savoury on the go, this is the place you were looking for.

On the roll is the best thing that you can find on George Square and now online too! They offer affordable (especially for students) and quality food, which is just so tasty you find yourself coming back for more. My personal favourite is the currywurst: two sausages with amazing toppings and the best curry sauce ever. Everything can be vegan too! I totally recommend paying a visit !
