The staff were friendly and helpful explaining items from the menu which we didn’t know the atmosphere was good and the food excellent the non alcoholic cocktails were sublime I would recommend this place to anyone whose is wanting good food staff and atmosphere at a reasonable price in my opinion definitely with five stars
We had a staff party at Boteco and they were great! The staff were so flexible and accommodating. They have a down stairs room which was perfect. They had moving lights and a DJ desk and even set up a Mic for us so we could do speeches. The drinks are also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for functions!
This review is about the club not the restaurant since I haven't eaten there yet. This is my go to place for a good party and when I want to dance "all night". They have a bar upstairs where you can find amazing couples dancing salsa, bachata, cumbia, etc... I know they do courses there so I'm thinking all these guys go to the classes so I don't feel too bad for not dancing like them! Anyway, it's lovely to watch them! Downstairs there is usually a mixture of latin and pop music. The Djs are usually quite good at mixing it so you don't get too much of one or the other. The staff is friendly and quite quick while the toilets downstairs are not the nicest but one can handle it on a night out after couple drinks. They do nice mojitos and caipirinas. And if you're luckly on the night you get the samba dancers or live music. Overall, if you're into latin style music and want to have good fun with friends you should definitely go to Boteco!
South American Sensation. This newly opened bar / diner is situated in nowhere land in the old town but is actually a nice location. The interior is colourful and spacious and there is a wide pavement area outside for al fresco dining in the summer. There is a large a la carte menu but I had the express 2 course lunch at only £5:95. Both dishes were well presented and tasty and the service was prompt and friendly. Well worth a visit and recommended.
I was excited to visit a Brasilian bar after having been to Zico's. Ever since I started capoeira classes, I've been fascinated with learning more about Brasilian culture and the bar is no exception. It radiates positive energy through the staff, the music from live performances and from the DJ selection. We visited at night, but I noticed there were windows for kitchen staff serve food off their menu during the day. The range of cocktails and drinks on the menu sounded enticing, but having had some wine in the same night, I wasn't looking to drink more alcohol and was pleased to find they kept a stock of Guarana Antartica, my new favourite soft drink. It was a pleasant night of great music, company and I would recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great relaxing night.
We had an amazing dinner and incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Great menu recommendations and they let us eat outside on their patio despite it being closed. Such a wonderful restaurant and atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back.
Lovely service, great food and nice cocktails 😎👌
Good vibe, the staff is very friendly. Although you need to specify the order in which you want your food to come. We ordered for starters and main course. The main course came before the starters. The cocktails are really nice. We enjoyed everything apart from the beef, the strips is more like fillets and the texture wasn't that good. The slow cooked beef waa obviously not slow cooked.
A bit like a sports bar but soccer changed to music after we arrived. Good tapas and cocktail, and nice to see staff training taking place. Does what is says on the tin.

The place is really good, drink price is amazing, the visitors are the best an amazing tropical vibe .
About the bar staff only 1 girl was nice, she was blonde with long hair, she was soooo kind and super polite with us, the rest of the crew super surly, I think you should reconsider your staff, the DJ was so rude to my girlfriends. Besides this I loved the place , a good option for a girls night out.
It was a bit quiet for a Thursday night, but there was live music, and the food was delicious. We had the £14.50 combo plus mains and drinks. The combo comprises one caipirinha and 3 starters to our choice. I'm not sure if it's because of the deal ,but we had 3 calamari rings and 3 prawns with dips as 2 of our starters. Quite small portions for the price paid, but the atmosphere outside and inside was good.
Mussels fabulous, chips good, service excellent, although these were good, I was let down by the deal of the day (ribs). It tasted like old meat covered in lots of sauce to mask the taste. The burgers looked nice. Regardless the service, mussels and chips would have scored a 5 star but the ribs were a 1 on taste.

Fantastic customer service all staff members. This is a superb location for a party or event. The food is also excellent and the traditional tapas were loved by all. We went as a large group and were all treated so well. The atmosphere is so fun and friendly and people got up and started dancing because the live music was so immersive and fun. Will certainly return for another night out! Could not fault it!
I’m leaving for a while in Dublin and visiting several countries, Brazilian food is always hard to find (good ones of course) . This restaurant definitely surprised me, we had the coxinha, risole, fish Moqueca and the Chinchin de galinha, both were delicious. The caipirinha also really well done and the environment was really pleasant. What surprised me the most was that no Brazilian people working in the kitchen, but they are cooking much better then loads of Brazilian restaurants in Brazil. Highly recommend the visit.
Great food, friendly staffs. We were enjoyed our lunch there. 👍
