We happened upon this quaint restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The 2 course and 3 course options gave us the chance to try 5 dishes in one evening. The tempura shrimp and cauliflower were tasty. The ducks was cooked perfectly and the vegetable risotto was nice. We had our cheese and crackers dessert as an appetizer, and the cheeses were delicious. Service was very good. Beer selection, cocktails and wine list were great. Highly recommended.
Had the most amazing Scottish breakfast and chai tea. Decently priced, tasted amazing and extremely filling.
Loved this place, incredible English / Scottish breakfast, friendly to vegetarians, never too crowded, fantastic service
Finally it's my time to try this lovely place! Staff are really friendly and amiable which gave us a very good impression. I had a beef burger which was very juicy and tasty! My wife ordered a duck liver and orange pate which was quite rich in flavour.
The vibe is as good as their sister, Urban Fox, in Newington.
Oh yes, they've good choice of cheesy music!
Amazing breakfast. If you’re the first time in Scotland try Full Scottish one. Lovely atmosphere. Delicious coffee with drawing on top🥰
Lovely chilled atmosphere with a decent menu. Loved the tempura prawns and pork belly starters and the burgers were tasty. Dog friendly too. Slightly away from the main tourist areas but only a short walk to a quieter area.
Absolutely cracking find for breakfast! Great location, lovely atmosphere inside. Waiting staff very attentive. Food was divine. Wish we lived closer so it could be our local haunt!
A hidden gem for breakfast/brunch. Food is top quality, delicious amd great portion sizes. Great sweet and savoury options for all - would highly recommend. Staff are lovely and a great atmosphere.
We'd been staying in the area and had walked past here a few times, always looked like a popular place so we popped in for some brunch today and enjoyed some really good food. It was quite busy, very relaxed and laid back vibe. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, the pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and the delicious mushroom soup with slices of sourdough bread. Our hot drinks were well made and it certainly brightened up a dreary morning!

This was a lovely little place for food, with gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options available. Food was fresh, hot and delicious and the staff were very friendly. Our lunch was delicious, well worth a visit.
