I was TODAY again in BENTO for my lunch. My choice for today was chicken teriyaki. The food was fresh, hot - fantastic.
I will definitely come back here again. Highly recommend!!!

Chicken Teriyaki rice bowl was very tasty. Nice rice, skin on chicken, really nice teriyaki sauce. Exactly what I wanted for a quick dinner passing by.

Nice Milk Tea with Pearls, the staffs are firendly. The foods are tasty, not too much spice, nice. Located in the city centre, across the Old College and Chamber St.

This place is a nice find for vegetarians. Walking distance from Golden Mile, Bento is not a strictly vegetarian place (they also sell chicken and fish), Bento serves ready-made food - quite a fair bit of them are vegetarian and some are vegetarian without onions and garlic.
Their tofu bento (€8.50) offers great value (at least for Edinburgh old town) and is allium free (no onions, no garlic).Their miso soup is heavenly on cold days but slightly too salty for my taste & I find their bubble tea also too sweet (I usually drink my bubble tea with 0% sugar).
That said would recommend this place for friendly, fast (grab and go), value Japanese/Asian vegetarian meal in Edinburgh.

Salmon poke bowl was beautifully presented and included lovely touches such as sliced radish, seaweed salad, pickled radish, edamame beans and sticky rice at the bottom. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great place to go for lunch.

Popped in before a book launch opposite at Blackwells. The first pau were a bit old and sticky so the staff replaced them with a smile. Gt service.

Ordered beef curry rice and salmon bao at this branch. Delicious both. And love the milk teas from every Bento Asian Food bars. For the price it’s decent enough.

Generous bowl of freshly made terriyaki chicken and rice, washed down with orange blossom tea. Price reasonable and just what I needed on arrival into Edinburgh. Good service too.
