Jordan Valley - Edinburgh - Photo album

Great local health food store with an amazing owner. Super friendly would offer me a homemade tea when I would come in and talking me through and letting me try the amazing homemade falafel he makes.
I realy do enjoy shopping at Jordans, i like herbal tea( loose chamomile or elderflower), as for herbs and spices they are the best ive come across, such a wide selection at reasonable prices, staff and owner very helpful, tried to call the shop to check for supply to pick up(phone number on site is
passed this shop today and decided to have a peek, and im so glad we did! I bought some beautiful soap and tea, and a nice can of kombucha. the owner was extremely kind and chatty, and let us try teas and his wonderful homemade jam. If I lived in edinburgh I would go all the time!
Very nice. The owner is very cool and communicative. You can find good tea there plus some other stuff. Thumbs up
Friendly staff and good prices on essential foods, especially olive oil and teas. Highly recommend!
This place is great for wholefoods that are often not stocked in other places. Simply massive tea and spice collection - particularly good for Middle Eastern spices, which nowhere else seems to stock.
Brilliant shop - incredible selection of teas and healthy foods, including Middle Eastern ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. Plus, the owners are generous and lovely people. Rather than binning nearly-expired but still very tasty foods, the owners often hand them out for free to customers
I am not sure how to review this business. Although they have a large selection of items that cannot be bought anywhere else their raisins were very dry as were their apricots which may be that some of their stock is a long way past its sell buy date.
I won't judge Jordan Valley for their dry foods: a huge range of spices, dried herbs, teas, coffees, staples (like bulgur wheat and other grains), canned and dry beans, canned soups and tomatoes, chocolate bars, halva, dried fruit, some plant milk in cartons, too. They sell some chilled bottled drin
-Great shop -Plenty of Vegan options -Stock several ethical, sustainable, Fairtrade and organic brands -Larger store then expected from the front -Very reasonable prices -Makes several products of their own including falafel, muffins, slices and cakes
Run mostly by a lovely man and his family, this place is full of healthy foods and things you might struggle to find outside the Middle East. A wall of teas, more olives, herbs and pulses than you could shake a bundle of cinnamon sticks at... But the real appeal of this shop is the Jordan Valley pr
I used to buy my falafels from this shop (in its previous location) 25 years ago when I was a student at Edinburgh Uni. As a previous reviewer said it is run by a lovely family. When I bought my goods 25 years ago it was usually the Dad who served me and we used to have good chats. After a long abs
Really lovely little shop packed full with great selection of deliciousness. The owner even gave me a complimentary fresh pasta and basil meal today. I can't praise this place enough.
Currently eating a delicious, healthy and filling vegan curry and rice made by the wonderful people at Jordan Valley Wholefoods, sold through the EUSA shop at King's Buildings campus. Hard to get good value wholesome food up here because of the EUSA monopoly, so really glad to see JV getting shelf s
Hidden Gem! They have amazing collection of Teas and Spices, and much more. Visited twice a day, as I couldn't resist eating their authentic falafels!
A gem for fans of middle eastern cooking. The owner is very knowledgeable and happily gives free samples. Tried some lovely sage tea.
Amazing vegan food for great prices. Staff are always super friendly and will chat with you and even offer you some lovely herbal tea!!
Went it looking for spices, and spent 30 minutes talking to the gentle owner, sipping sage tea, granola bars, plus walking home with 2 complimentary pots of hummus. Coming back always!
