We got the apartment with two bedrooms, three toilets and a large living-room.
It felt very clean and luxurious. The living room had a nice view to the private garden.

Excellent accommodations. Each unit is best described as a luxury apartment. The apartments feature elegant, eclectic decorations and design. There is no lift, but a 6'6" Scotsman in a kilt whisked more than 100 lbs of luggage up 9 floors with ease. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Cozy Pub on premise. Upscale dine-in service. We love Edinburgh. The Chester Residences surpassed all our expectations. Thank you!
Amazing 1st stay here. The size of apartment was amazing. We had a blast here. The staff were great aswell. We have recommended our eldest son and girlfriend to stay here and they have booked for valentines weekend! We will definitely be back. A lovely little hideaway that is so close to the busy centre xxx
Beautiful apartments ! Excellent customer service. No air conditioners though. Beware the showers have no grab bars, soapy water and glass doors are not a good combination. Another safety fail are the door knobs instead of door handles. Other than that everything was amazing !!
The staff were wonderful, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. We stayed on the ground floor at 9 Chester Street and the living room was huge. The kitchen (and fridge) was very small, but we managed.
We had a small problem with the TV and it was resolved the same day. Very quiet neighborhood and even less noise at night because the bedroom was facing away from the street. 5 minute walk to buses and trams.
One of the best hotels we have experienced. The decor was very grande. Very close to the centre of Edinburgh in an up-market clean and well lit area. Parking was offered in a nearby location away from the hotel at an extra cost which was OK. Overall hotel experience was brilliant. Highly recommended.
Fantastic place to stay while in Edinburgh. We stayed for 4 days. The staff were great and assisted us whenever we needed it. The rooms were clean, elegant and spacious. Great location, within walking distance of everything you would want to see in Edinburgh. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood that is near the castle. I can't recommend this place enough.
Beautiful apartment. You have your own private kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. The internet is fast and all the televisions have Sky TV. Service is excellent, the staff could not be more friendly. You are about a half hour walk from most of the sights. Highly recommended if you are staying in Edinburgh.
Fantastic experience at the Chester Residence apartments! Really high quality rooms that seem very newly furnished and perfectly designed, with a very friendly staff. Location is a bit of a walk from the center but it's a nice 10-15 minutes to get anywhere you want to be in town. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
We stayed in a suite/owners resident, there was plenty of sprawling space. Our stay included 4 large rooms, a large Jacuzzi bath, a gorgeous waterfall shower, cinema room and a livingroom with a side kitchen. It was more then enough for 2 people. I would recommend it 100% to anyone wanting to stay in a luxury hotel! Amazing customer service, lots of privacy and a welcoming warmth!
My first visit won't be my last. Absolutely impeccable standards of decor, cleanliness combined with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. The apartments themselves are VERY spacious, being New Town Georgian Edinburgh full size rooms without being subdivided into smaller units. The top room has fantastic views across Edinburgh, the Forth Valley, Fife and on the clear day I visited I could see two Munros within the Perthshire countryside - probably Ben Tay and Ben Lawers. Highly recommended.
We had a 2 bedroom flat and it was perfect! Quiet neighborhood, great staff and clean beautiful rooms. Only 5 min walk to princess at and plenty of restaurants and things to do. We will be back

Fantastic staff, very polite and helpful. The place is just 8 mins walk to the main princes street and you have many shops around. The apartment is large, tidy and very relaxing with full home amenities. I highly recommend it
Extremely well.appointed and excellent location less than ten minutes from new Town and Princes Street. Really quiet dedpite convenient location. Do walk down to Water of Leith, Dean Village and Stockbridge . Truly rus in urbe! Two nit picking quibbles. Coat rack for external wear would be helpful for wet days and lighting verging between cosy and too dim to read, especially in bedroom. Overall suite great. We will be back.
Such a lovely place to stay whilst down from the Highlands for Rugby weekends. Very comfortable and perfectly located. Very friendly members staff.
