The Edinburgh Residence Restaurant

One of the best hotels we have experienced. The decor was very grande. Very close to the centre of Edinburgh in an up-market clean and well lit area. Parking was offered in a nearby location away from the hotel at an extra cost which was OK. Overall hotel experience was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended, wouod 100% stay again if visiting Edinburgh. Fantastic penthouse apartment approx 5 mins walk from Haymarket station. Clean, spacious and very comfortable, with modern decor throughout. Great, quiet location away from the hustle of a city center but only a short walk into Edinburgh.

The staff were wonderful, and the apartment was spotlessly clean. We stayed on the ground floor at 9 Chester Street and the living room was huge. The kitchen (and fridge) was very small, but we managed. We had a small problem with the TV and it was resolved the same day. Very quiet neighborhood and even less noise at night because the bedroom was facing away from the street. 5 minute walk to buses and trams.

Excellent accommodations. Each unit is best described as a luxury apartment. The apartments feature elegant, eclectic decorations and design. There is no lift, but a 6'6" Scotsman in a kilt whisked more than 100 lbs of luggage up 9 floors with ease. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Cozy Pub on premise. Upscale dine-in service. We love Edinburgh. The Chester Residences surpassed all our expectations. Thank you!

Amazing 1st stay here. The size of apartment was amazing. We had a blast here. The staff were great aswell. We have recommended our eldest son and girlfriend to stay here and they have booked for valentines weekend! We will definitely be back. A lovely little hideaway that is so close to the busy centre xxx

Extremely well.appointed and excellent location less than ten minutes from new Town and Princes Street. Really quiet dedpite convenient location. Do walk down to Water of Leith, Dean Village and Stockbridge . Truly rus in urbe! Two nit picking quibbles. Coat rack for external wear would be helpful for wet days and lighting verging between cosy and too dim to read, especially in bedroom. Overall suite great. We will be back.
