It was excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed a small portion of scampi and the salted caramel cheesecake was scrumptious.

Best fish and chips I have ever had. The chef says it's fresh fish bought in every morning and cooked perfectly The light crispy batter and fish is not over cooked it's done perfectly. It melts in the mouth 😋 yummy.

Spoke to the chef, and he made sure that our food was GF and safe. We had dessert that wasn't fruit salad! (Yummy carrot cake)

A place I visited while waiting for my son. It was Monday nights so quiet, the staff were very attentive and remembered me when I returned a few times. Food, good menu not overly large but a really good selection and a mixture of old favourites and new ideas. Pitions are really good. The chicken and chorizo is wonderful and filling ,lovely haggis lasagna. There's a Scottish tapas selection, yup ,and really good choice. The chief came out and chatted to me, maybe because it was quiet , a lovely guy.

Lovely pub. Great selection of comfort foods at reasonable prices, which is rare so close to the city centre. Good mix of easy listening music from eighties to noughties. Friendly bar staff. Good sized beer garden and dog-friendly inside and out. Something for everyone. It's become our favourite local.

Nice restaurant and pleasant atmosphere. Took COVID-19 restrictions on board with barriers separating tables and staff taking temperatures etc. Comfortable place with fast service. Menu is similar to standard pub grub; however, food is good quality. Toilets not the cleanest. Reasonably priced and would return.

This was an amazing choice for breakfast. Walked past it so many times, every time thinking I will need to visit here. And so I did, great decision. The place is so clean and tidy, the layout is perfect. There are segregated areas, not sure if it's on purpose but it's a nice touch. The place had notices outside advertising live sport. We were not disappointed. Lots of televisions to choose from. Great picture quality, only downside they had music on instead of volume for match. I understand it was a Sunday afternoon and they would rather have music than football chatter. I wonder if it's different for sport in the evening? The menu has great selection, food and drinks. Prices arent overly expensive and the quality of food is superb. Never visited toilet facilities but if it was as clean as everything else then probably nothing to worry about. Service was slightly slow. Food did take a while. But because there was sport on wasnt too bad. We were hungry though. Deserts probably didn't need to take so long too. Nevertheless a great place I will visit again and again in the future try some more food.
