Tigerlilys

This used to be a good place to go on a rainy day. Most of the toys in the older kids room are either broken missing or just plain dangerous. The Staff were more interested in each other than the customers and half the (small) menu was unavailable. We had our daughters third birthday here because of how much she loved it, this time she asked to leave because 'Its a bit not good Daddy'.

edit: now closed. - Brilliant for parents! Fantastic jungle-themed play cafe in Morningside with play areas for children. 30 minute or 1 hour admission can be paid for at the till and the little ones can run off and play *supervised* in a gated area while the grown-ups enjoy a coffee in the cafe area. The play sessions aren't cheap, but the equipment is new, clean and fun. There are two play areas, one for 0-3 years and one from 4 years up which are equipped with age-appropriate toys and softplay areas. Would deserve 4.5 stars if the staff in the cafe itself were more attentive. I'm not a fan of their cakes, but might give the savoury food a try next time. Overall a lovely place with a nice and friendly atmosphere.

Enjoyed Tigerlily's for a 3rd birthday party, jungle theme soft play, good cafe, and upstairs to host lunch for little ones. Visiting again with my daughter for softplay, novelty defintely worn off and didn't enjoy the softplay as much, defintely been to better and bigger ones. Would visit again if in the area for a light lunch. Des have nice outside seating area too for spring/summer.

Booked a 5th birthday party for my daughter and 14 children only to find out when we arrived the main play area was closed as building work was taking place. Manager wasn't present and staff seemed confused and alluded to the fact scenarios such as ours were becoming an increasingly frequent occurrence. We tried to contact the manager by mobile but received no answer however it became evident she was sending SMS messages to the staff, clearly too ashamed to speak to us.
