Hey there! I just wanted to quickly share my experience with you for review purposes. I recently stayed at a fabulous hotel, and I must say, the hotel room and customer service were absolutely amazing! I had such a fantastic time. I highly recommend everyone to choose this hotel when visiting this city. It is conveniently located near everything, making it super convenient to explore and enjoy all the attractions. Take my word for it, you won't be disappointed!

The hotel was easily accessible from Edinburgh Waverly. Just a short walk from the platform to Market Street entrance - quite handy for my mom (who isn't a huge fan of walks). It was identifiable from the get go, and check in went smoothly with no fuss. We came in a little bit earlier than check in time, but the reception staff were kind and accommodating, and offered us 2 rooms to start with (the 3rd would be available upon return from our short first day excursion) so we could drop our luggage and go on a walkabout. Breakfast instructions were given and we were directed to the lifts where we could access our rooms. I have requested for all 3 rooms to be on the same floor and they were extremely kind for honouring that request. They also prepared one of the rooms with a welcome platter for my sister and brother in law who were visiting with us as a part of their honeymoon leg. Much appreciated, guys! They totally loved it! The rooms were clean, the bathroom was huge and everything sparkling - nothing to fault. Beds were comfy and toiletries were available upon request at reception. Airconditioning was superb! There was a small coffee and tea bar in the room as well as a mini fridge, and the room came with a safe, a big wardrobe space complete with iron and ironing board and a handy dandy hair dryer. For breakfast, they had a large selection of hot and cold breakfast options, and even a chef's corner who made omelettes on order (you can put in anything you like from his little ingredient counter). The staff were really helpful and kept clearing the tables whenever you were done with your glasses and plates. This overnight stay was my first here, and definitely one for the books! Will definitely come back - highly recommended!

During our March trip to Edinburgh, we chose to stay at this location. Our decision was influenced by the desire to have easy access to everything while also keeping our expenses in check. The location turned out to be absolutely ideal. Arriving by train, we found ourselves just a quick stroll away from the hotel after stepping off the train. Utilizing the hotel's back entrance, we conveniently walked directly to the Royal Mile. Although our expectations were initially modest due to the price we paid, our assumptions were quickly changed. The lobby exuded a captivating charm, and our room was a remarkable blend of cleanliness and modernity. The tartan carpet and decorative throw pillows added a delightful touch. Modern and big shower room instead of tub. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the incredible view. From our vantage point, we could take in the sights of Waverly train station, The Balmoral hotel, Arthur's Seat, Calton Hill, and more. The hotel's front desk staff proved to be exceptionally accommodating. Their assistance extended beyond the standard duties, encompassing luggage handling, taxi arrangements, and even providing essential items that had proven elusive in local stores, like a lint roller.

Nice hotel, breakfast was excellent, rooms clean and fresh. Staff very helpful. Plenty nearby and close enough to the main attractions. Discount on parking can be had at the Waverley station multi story (drop your bags off first!). Worth noting that at time of stay (august 23) there is a construction site next door. It doesn’t make noise before 8 in the morning and didn’t bother us as we’re “up and out” but you’re looking for a hotel to have a quiet lazy lie in, this place may not be for you at the moment!

Beautifully refurbished since I last stayed here (when it was Jury's Inn) you get 1 free tea/coffee or hot chocolate per person per day in the bar. The only things I would change would be I'd add some drawer space in the room and shelves in the wardrobe and perhaps some additional lighting by the mirror(that's just me being picky though!)

Visit July 2023 - Great Hotel which includes rooms, beds, condiments, shower facilities & location. Relax & Unwind in the evening, staff very friendly & attentive, didn't eat in the evening but food looked & smelt great. Breakfast was Fantastic (free for kids), what a selection, Continental, Cooked, Breads/Croissants etc..., Tea/Coffee & Fruit Juices, Omelettes cooked to your specification, Kym was extremely warm and welcoming, Chef cooking my omelette really nice, deserves a mention, will definitely return no doubt...

Clean tidy spacious rooms. Staff were helpful when needing to swap beds for my little boy as we didn't need a cot we needed a proper bed so someone was straight up sorting it out. Ran out of tea and coffee for the room and they gave us more. Paid for parking and they let us stay the next day until we wanted which was great. Not to long of a walk to get into the city center. Alot or pubs and restaurants near by

Great location just off the royal mile. Bar staff were great fun when we went to the bar for some late night after dinner drinks. Only downside was that we had a view a building site.. there was no building work going on as it was the weekend, so no noise. Just not the greatest thing to have outside your hotel window. Obviously can't be helped. Everything else was 10/10
