All the staff at Clarkâs are simply wonderful. They put up with my friends and me and are always lovely. Alan in particular made my birthday drinks fabulous! All the staff, Tom, Nathan, Tess and Alan are a credit to the bar. All the locals are a curious delight every time we visit.

A great old fashioned no nonsense bar with excellent staff and a great pint. Saw some dodgy football on TV but what do you expect early season. Great beer a full gantry plus Negronis and Old Fashioneds on tap

Unpretentious old fashioned Edinburgh pub with friendly staff and wee side rooms that are good for groups. Shows lots of sport. The music is always great and it's a stone' throw from town

Great old school boozer with a good range of craft beers, wines and cocktails. Traditional features throughout the bar add the the vibe and staff are friendly. Shows Sky Sports, which is a bonus. Perfect place for an after work drink or casual Sunday. They also serve pizzas from Ramsay's Street Pizza round the corner

Nice wee pub, friendly bar staff.
Decent selection of beer and spirits available.
If you're not good at stairs, don't try to use the loo. The building is very old and they cannot make many changes so it's stairs, stairs, stairs.

Brilliant wee "old fashioned" boozer. Great mix of locals and passing trade. Decent beers and a lovely atmosphere. Give it a go if you're in the area.

Only serves snacks i.e. freshly made filled rolls, crisps, peanuts etc. It's a pub in the true sense of the word. No hot food. Just good beer etc.
