Popped in for coffee and something light to snack on. They have a few tables inside, but it’s small. The service was great. Very friendly and super helpful with providing general touristy formation. I had a cortado coffee - it was on the strong side, which I like. The cheese salami croissants was decent size. I will definitely be back - certainly looks like a descent coffee spot.

I love this place and their desserts. I had tried caramel shortbread which my first time and flat white are scrumptious. I liked the atmosphere and especially sketches on the walls

Had the Lebanese wrap and a lemonade The wrap was huge, full of amazing flavours and lots of vegetables. Very much needed after a trek up to Arthur’s Seat! The wrap tasted absolutely incredible, I’m sad I don’t live closer and can’t go every day.

Great cafe to start your day. Amazing staff so friendly and helpful. I chose to sit outside and the view was beautiful facing Edinburgh castle. Tried the cappuccino and latte and both were so good.

I wish I had known this little gem earlier and tried their lebanese wrap. Despite being located in Grassmarket, all menus are reasonably priced. You can also have a nice view of the neighbourhood and the castle if you sit by the window or outside. The wrap was surprisingly flavourful and filling. Would definitely recommend this place for an affordable and good breakfast.

Cute little place! Had the breakfast burrito and it was really delicious. Pumpkin spice latte might be the best I have had. Service was quick so great for a bite on the go. Fair prices.

Good coffee and cakes, didn’t try any of their other snacks, but a lot of people around us did and they all seem to very much enjoy the food.

First time in Edinburgh and this bar far was a fantastic place. Great to eat in or take away. I sat in and enjoyed the peace and quiet while my family was in the hotel two doors down. Ate breakfast feeling slightly guilty but enjoyed every moment. Staff were so fabulous assisting me with plant base ingredients. Honestly, a wonderful little café.

Delightful location with a very mellow mood. Lovely staff patiently took the complicated order, due to dietary issues. Food was great, coffee too, easy to finish what was on my plate. The tunes were the icing on the cake!!

Excellent breakfast cafe! We ate here twice on our trip. The focaccia breakfast sandwich is delicious. I had the porridge with banana , hazelnuts and Nutella which is as good as it sounds. The staff is hard working and friendly.

Absolutely love this place. The vegan falafel on ciabatta was amazing. The cakes were lovely... had several on a rainy afternoon with a special friend! Staff were so lovely. Coffee was great and they had so many milk free choices! Thank you so much for a lovely experience. Definitely recommend!

Pirlous is a great option in this region, not only for the relation of price, quality and size of the dishes but because everything is so delicious and so fresh. I had the soup of the day and a sandwich on the first day and come back in the other day and tried the salad. All good options, I will come back as often as I come to the city. The environment is cozy and the service is kind. Great option for vegetarians as well.

Friendly, lovely place with great options. I had the Scottish porridge Oats with Nutella, Bananas and hazelnuts. It was wonderful. The hot chocolate just added to how good it was! Yum... Will priced and comfortable! Thank you Came back again today, sadly Google says you are open at 8am and the staff said they would open about 8:45?? No accurate time given. Please have accurate times on Google as many customers use it. Thank you

Stopped here for a drink and to grab something to eat while visiting Edinburgh. Gorgeous, fresh food and lovely coffee. Great vegetarian options! Highly recommend the Lebanese wrap, it's huge and is great value for money. If I lived on Edinburgh I'd be here regularly. Thanks so much :)

Absoutely delightful place for breakfast, brunch or lunch- food was delicious and flavoursome, the smells coming from the kitchen were incredible! Their counter showing all of their lunch produce almost made me want to get a takeaway for later!! 4/5 because the coffee could have been better, but nice nevertheless. Would recommend this place to anyone! Staff were lovely too :)

Definitely worth coming if you're looking for brunch/lunch. My wife had the smashed avocado on toast with smoked salmon, and I had the soup of the day with a Moroccan Chicken sandwich (a combo deal they offer) It all tasted delicious and fresh, and we came away feeling rather full! The location itself is great, right near the Grassmarket Square and the cafe is bright and clean. The staff were also friendly, greeting us with a smile.

Amazing experience! I asked for a hot chocolate and the best plant milk that goes perfectly with it. The young ladies advised to take coconut milk. It was divine! Delicious! Also, the background music fits perfectly with the atmosphere. And, good value! I strongly recommend this place! Thanks again to the ladies!
