Outstanding service and the bar staff are incredibly helpful. Scott and Tylor in particular. Nothings ever too much trouble for them. Great customers and a great vibe. My new favourite local!

All good. Very quiet, rustic, interesting pics and so in. I think the decor may be a bit marmite. We Googled coffee shops that welcome dogs and this came up. We had lunch. My partner's toasted sandwich was just that, I had soup which was lovely. Only us and 2 blokes at the bar.

This is one of my choice spots for lunch in Portobello. The place itself is beautifully decorated with kooky wallpaper and magazine cuttings with a pretty back garden. Everything about it is unique! The menu has a few vegetarian options, which are delicious. I recommend the freshly made strawberry milkshake, so good!

Pretty relaxed environment. The place has a good selection of beers and they all seem fairly reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and the music was decent. This places allows dogs (and even offered my dog a blanket)

Had my friends birthday here tonight.I don't normally bother with reviews but I must tonight...It was a night to remember! Great atmosphere, which was basically down to dam good service! The 2 outstanding bar staff slash waitresses slash cocktail experts slash chef's made it for us, they knew our drinks after each round and our faces for every special tostie request, with over 20 fussy guests..they even managed to take the time to come and sing happy birthday with cake and candles !!Thanks jaffle joint girls we will return !

Great wee spot. Good food and coffee, beer and beer garden, staff and service. Whats more to ask for. For ale lovers, Two hand pulls and a draft that is changed regularly.
